Sabrina and our group’s morning breakfast was a highlight of our stay in Downieville. The food and coffee were AMAZING, and she was so warm. Many of us loved the Ayurvedic scramble, but also her homemade biscuits. We couldn’t get enough. Perfect fuel for our long days biking and hiking. Highly recommend!

What a great place that has it all. Such a friendly owner. Invited us to visit the back patio as we were just visiting her place while walking around with our ice cream cones. Noticed we had a dog and said we could totally take him to the back patio and enjoy the view of the river.

Whenever I camp at Wild Plum, I love stopping in Downieville. Love this little slice of heaven and their very filling breakfast burritos. Love the spiced sauce they use, tastes like pepper plant sauce. I enjoyed sitting back and people watching, hearing the regulars share their morning with the staff, see fellow out of towners enjoy the atmosphere. Best place to catch up on my device with WiFi, as cell service can be limited. No service up at Wild Plum.

Love eating breakfast for lunch during my work week at the paper. The food is delicious, generous portions and the price point is spot on. I had lunch there today, a huge, delicious chicken sandwich and three adults ate a huge lunch for $40. Unheard of in these parts. A genuinely loving and fun atmosphere. Flavorful food bringing nostalgic vibes; like my grandma made it straight from her kitchen to the dinner table.❤️ And BTW, her holiday brunch in 2022 and the seasonal celebration was absolutely worth leaving the warmth of my house.????✨️✨️✨️✨️

I frequent Sabrina’s at the Forks, the staff are wonderful. I order the “ Big Boulder” as a salad instead of a sandwich and Sabrina is always accommodating to my requests. The food is QUALITY and fresh for a fair price. You can’t beat the location and river front patio!

Always fresh, always friendly and extremely tasty. There’s not a lot of options in the lost county, so I love that there’s always a new special and a variety of baked goods. You can tell they truly care about what they’re doing.

Great healthy food from great people! I eat here at least once a week, more when there was winter meal delivery service. That was super helpful since I was injured this past winter and couldn't cook. The TBA Salad and Root Salad are my favorites. Next are the sourdough pancakes and Autumn's lemon bars. :)

Sabrina's food is amazing. I tend to get some kind of root salad or caprese salad bowl, and there's never a hesitation when I want to doctor it up with something like a salmon filet...or in the case of my friend, some tri-tip on top. In fact she's well-known for her tri-tip that is made on her smoker on her back patio. She's got breakfast burritos with eggs, potatoes, cheese and a meat and no-meat option. There are sandwiches, beverages (including beer & wine) and the icing on the cake, literally, a partnership with Autumn's Butter Me Up Bakery (go look that up on Facebook) where you'll find home-baked-in-Downieville sweets that are amazing.Oh, and coffee...all the kinds. Plus some grab and go food items in the refrigerator case. I've been here...I don't know...a hundred times? And I've always found something to eat, even being the pesky pescatarian that I am. Mostly because Sabrina makes sure she gets me fed. She is incredibly kind and just an amazing people person. The best kept secret? The back patio that has tables and is right on the river. It's truly magical. It might just be you and your coffee...or it might be full of people. They also host events there and when it fills up and the band kicks in, it's fantastic.Sabrina's is on one side of the space and Downieville Outfitters are on the other side. So don't be afraid to walk in. Both sets of employees are super friendly and will help you get what you need. Do give yourself a little extra time, though...there may be a bit of a wait for your homemade grub...but it will be worth it, I promise!

My husband and I decided to stop in for glass of iced tea while waiting for our daughter to arrive. While there, we decided to try a sandwich. The turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich was delicious ? and the iced tea was great. Friendly service too.
