It's a nice cozy shop. When I come up to Duarte to work I usually buy a bacon or ham croissant sandwich there. They're $6 each but they taste great so it's worth it. It's not light. it's not heavy. It's a good breakfast meal.
I've been coming here ever since I was young, and after trying various apple fritters from other shops, I would say the ones sold here are one of my favorites. They have a nice fried texture while maintaining a soft, doughy apple-filled interior. Not to mention, they're well worth the $3 or so per donut. If you're looking for a nice early morning treat, I'd recommend giving their fritters (or other donuts) a try!

Umm their Yelp page says they accept credit cards but I just went and they don't. It's 2023, how do you not accept credit cards? you can only get away with that if you have something really special and this place doesn't, just your average donut and on the dry side.
