“Our family has known Peni, Sherry,there kids and grandkids for over 12 yrs now. Once I saw and smelled the bbq over 12 yrs ago I gravitated towards it and have been a huge fan since. Their island q is the best on the mainland and I recommend trying it all since I don’t have a favorite. You can see the passion and love that this family puts towards sharing a little bit of their heritage through their food with all of us. “While running an errand at my local auto parts store, I discovered a cozy restaurant nearby that caught my attention. Curious about what they had to offer, I decided to try some of their food.

I ordered shrimp fried rice, which was delicious with perfectly cooked rice, tasty shrimp, I also tried the typhoon prawns, which were crispy and packed with flavor, making them a standout dish. To round off my meal, I enjoyed two spam musubis, which were well-prepared with a nice balance of seasoned rice and savory spam.

The food was truly enjoyable, and I was pleased with the variety available, featuring both Hawaiian BBQ and Chinese cuisine. The owner was incredibly friendly and added a personal touch to my experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.“
