“Fabulous coffee! And good variety of flavors. I’m not a tea drinker, but my friends love the selection. Treats are always tempting me!! But I’m here to say that it’s the atmosphere of the place that makes it a favorite. I met a friend here this morning. A great time that was made all the more special by our engaging with other patrons on the patio. What was it that made us quickly connect and start sharing from the heart? I can’t name it! “I've been coming here for ages but I never got around to reviewing the place. It's my go-to for a quiet, low key place to work. Coffee is alright, has some of the best prices in town and tipping isn't thrown in your face like other places. Overall, love it as my personal comfort cafe.“

“I really enjoy my drinks when I come, but what I don’t enjoy is the coin flip of will it take 3 minutes or 30 minutes to get through the line. The location is also a little tough to get into, but for a franchise it’s pretty great and not too expensive.“

“Drove through one of our Fave DB locations. We were celebrating our new puppies first day of school. Chatted with the nicest man at the window and when he heard about Hanks first day of puppy school he encouraged us to treat him with a Pup Cup. Hank loved it. We laughed all the way home at the whipped cream on his lil’ doggie nose ❤️.“

“I usually get the Fuzzy Peach smoothie, and it's delicious every time! You can have them make any smoothie with fresh squeezed juice, which is the way I order it. The staff is always pleasant. They have a variety of protein boosts you can add to your smoothies, and they have a pretty big menu of food to select from. I haven't tried any food yet, but I'll update this review once I do. They also have ice cream, cake slices, baked goods, and gluten-free baked goods. My daughter has had the ice cream and said it was the best chocolate ice cream she's ever had.“

“Best 20oz Americano. They also have great breakfast burritos that have unfortunately become smaller and more expensive since Covid but that is not Mr & Mrs Cal Javas doing. They are just having to keep up with all the dollars in circulation, bringing down the value of the US$. Maybe if we quit printing money like the Joker runs the Federal Reserve I can get my veggie burrito huge again. Thank you Cal Java for employing nice people and for keeping it excellent even though your rent must be going up and the Joker is in charge of the money supply.
Vegetarian options: I get the vegetarian breakfast burrito and it is almost always the best breakfast burrito in town.“

“Totally love the Naked Lounge. Only issue, when I get a, "hot", coffee, it's served, "barely warm"! A pet peeve of mine. But, it's Chico's absolute best coffee shop!! I like to enjoy sipping my coffee, serving it barely warm sadly really messes up the coffee experience. I usually ask to have my hot coffee to be heated. If I forget the coffee cup takes on an attitude of they're too busy to care.“
“I’m an unapologetic coffee snob and I think their coffee is great. A rich smooth dark roast with creative additions and Boris is super nice too. It’s my Wednesday morning treat.“

“This is a Starbucks. The real reason this is 5 stars is the location! There is a large window that overlooks downtown and the people watching is spectacular. Sometimes you get a magician, sometimes homeless people scoping bicycles, mostly it's the fine people of Chico window shopping and Chico State students taking in the city. I highly recommend this place for Thursday night markets.“
