“I've come here twice already in 2 weeks because we love the food so much. Their xiao long bao are good and so are their shrimp dumplings. Best made to order Chinese I've had in a while. This easily became our new obsession. The owners are welcoming and attentive. It is always a pleasure to dine in with them. We have tried family style but this time we had the lunch special with was amazing too. Chicken and green bean. White sauce mushroom chicken and general chicken. When you sit down, corn egg drop soup is immediately served before your order too ?“

“One of my favorite Chinese places. I don't get over here anymore but I remember coming a few times when I worked in the area. Idk why but before coming here I was strictly a chow mein person. This was the Chinese spot that made me like fried rice. It's very flavorful and it was worth waiting in line.“

“Great food and very large portions. The house fried rice has shrimp in it and my husband loves it. Since I don't like shrimp I always order the egg fried rice which is very very good. I also like the sweet and sour pork. The portion is more than enough for me to eat and be full and then still have some left over for tomorrow. That's the same way with the rice. Egg drop soup just yummy that's how I can describe it. It comes in a huge bowl that four people could easily share and have enough for all four people. We also ordered the vegetable spring rolls and I really like them They have more than enough vegetables in there and that's not a lot of onions in it. Overall the place is clean, the service is great and it doesn't take a long time for the food to be prepared. Great restaurant and we will definitely go back there again and again.“

• lots of vegetable and meat selection (you choose what you want for your hot pot)
• all you can eat green onions and cilantro <3
• only complaint is that most of their noodles are instant noodles (egg noodle is not the flour one)
• their beef bone broth is very strong rich flavored and they give me a lot!! very delicious and happy
• their ingredient quality is better than all the other places
• spicy is very spicy o.o

“Been here many times, love the food ! Last night at 4:30pm, we were disappointed in the service and the portions of food. The portions were not consistent as our past visits , smaller portions. Two girls were relaxing /sleeping at one of the tables. When they woke up, they actually went in the back of the restaurant and then returned as employees. When we left , around 5:20 pm , every table had happy guest eating.“

“12/13/2024 – I ordered the beef with string beans online, but received green beans instead. You might want to double-check the difference between the two. The beef was quite chewy, so I ended up discarding it. However, the meal was still flavorful, and the green beans were good. That said, I was expecting string beans as listed on the menu.“

“For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

“Great food from a very small place. I have been here several times and I’ve never had anything bad. They have huge portions and their food is fantastic.

Vegetarian options: I actually got the sweet-and-sour tofu which was phenomenal. They have a lot of tofu options.

Wheelchair accessibility: I went with a friend who is in a wheelchair and it’s a little bit of a tight squeeze to get in the front door because of the way the restaurant is set up, but she has a large chair and we made it in just fine“

“As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly by Candy. I later met Candy's partner, Ringo. Both were friendly and welcoming. Candy asked if it was my first time and then assisted me with suggestions. At that point, I became part of the Ho Choy Restaurant family through friendliness and hospitality.
The food was tasty and fresh, the portions were generous and the iced coffee/tea mixed beverage was refreshing to top off the meal, just as Candy suggested.

“Being an avid Costco shopper I found myself exploring the other stores in the shopping center and was excited to find authentic Chinese food. Compared to favorites in Los Angeles and Orange County this place really surprised me. I ordered the combination fried rice and kung pao three meat. The rice was fresh and flavorful with no shortage of meat. Great portion for a great price.

The Kung Pao veggie/meat ratio was a little to heavy on the veggie side in my opinion. However I went back the same week for some more of that combo fried rice. I will be back again to try other things such as the Sizzlin Fried Rice Soup.“

“Well they definitely deserve a 4.3 star I’m giving a five star everything was amazing probably some of the best orange chicken even though it was more like sweet-and-sour that I’ve ever had delicate crispy gooey, the Kung Pao with the three ingredients was totally awesome and the chow mein with the three ingredients Killer in all a WOW experience great service will definitely go back many times

“Changan is one of my favorite go-to spots in Chino Hills. The food always comes out quickly, and everything I’ve tried is packed with incredible flavor. The portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. They open early with a wide variety of authentic Chinese breakfast items, and their lunch and dinner menu offers everything from skewers and noodles to spicy mixed vegetables and dumplings. “My family and I have been eating here for as long as I can remember. We have not been to this location I would say in the past 6 months up until 2 days ago. Not sure if they are new owners, but the food definitely is different and so is the service.

We went on Memorial Day evening for dinner, there was not much left in terms of the spicy orange chicken and the fried rice. We were served what was left in the warmers and did not complain. I also ordered a fresh shrimp fried rice and Mongolian beef. Both of the rice dishes were very dry and hard (worse the next day) and the Mongolian lacked flavor. My son's tummy & mine were a little upset from the food as well, if you know what i mean...
This is the 1st time I have EVER been disappointed here with the food. Not sure i will be going back...“
