It is one of the best authentic mexican places in San Diego County. It's not fancy, just great food and service. Reminds of the small taco shops I have eaten at in Mexico. If you want great food, this is the place.

Friends recommend Rita's to me and it's a great find. Friendly staff food was prepared quickly. The hot sauce was flavorful. I would recommend that they update there menu prices on-line.

Just finished eating our 1st order from Ritas! Oh man! I have lived in SD and El Cajon my whole life and haven't had better Mexican food. We live very close to this place and never tried it until now. I've been missing out. I'll be going back for sure. I loved the cheese enchilada. It wasn't rubbery but nice smooth melted cheese. The sauce didn't taste like the same canned stuff every body else uses. Lots of fresh lettuce and tomatoes and tons of options...
