El Cajon’s hidden gem of delicious drinks and yummy pastries at great prices. We had the strawberry shake, Carmel shake, dole whip pineapple drink with lotus, cookies and cake pops! All were extraordinary!!! Highly recommend Vanilla Oasis and will be back soon!

Great family owned small business. Today was their opening day and it was fantastic! The owner is also the barista and the baker! Everything was soooo good! Definitely recommend the cookie butter drink!

Vanilla Oasis is a hidden gem in El Cajon, tucked inside a business plaza and industrial complex. This small-scale bakery and coffee shop is a grab-and-go spot with no indoor or outdoor seating, though there is plenty of parking. The counterperson is friendly and pleasant, and customer service is friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable.
The drinks are delicious, and the baked goods are phenomenal. The salted caramel latte is amazing, and the large cookie butter latte with breve is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a smooth espresso flavor and subtle Biscoff notes. The caramel latte is also a must. The Biscoff cookie butter scone is soft, flavorful, and not dry at all. A cake pop is available, and lemonades are good, with barbie a favorite as it is more sweet than sour. There is a wide variety of pastries to choose from, and the shop inside is cute for purchasing goodies. This little cafe and bakery is a true hidden gem and comes highly recommended.
