Great food and great service. Grabbed food to go for our office and we will be back regularly.
Simple, clean sushi restaurant with good service, cold beer/sake, and really really good sushi. Went for the straight up sushi to see just how the quality was and it exceeded expectations. The best? A side order of hotate (raw scallops), my go-to test at every sushi restaurant. Hands down the freshest hotate I have ever had. I've been to Japan multiple times and this rates at or near the top for quality.
Prices and service on the mark. Definitely our new hangout in EDH.
Pleasantly surprised. Had planned to get pizza tonight but the new pizza joint was packed. Walked down to Kochi and my family was seated immediately. We used to eat at this spot years ago but it changed owners during covid. Not sure if it has changed owners again or they found their stride, but our meal was excellent. KOCHI SUSHI, located near Safeway, offers a delicious teriyaki bowl that's enough for two people. The owners pride themselves on serving the best food, with fresh and generous portions. Known for their original and tasty rolls, the restaurant is a favorite spot for Friday night dinners with friends. Families love the quick service for kids' orders to keep hunger at bay. The sushi is really fresh and delicious, and the staff is super friendly. The owners, Steven and Simon the chef, are present and attentive to customers. The menu is huge, but the Hotate salmon bite, Folsom Lake roll, and the pan-fried gyoza are particularly noteworthy. The food is delicious, hot, and served in generous portions, with very reasonable prices. Overall, a highly recommended sushi place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
