“It's a neighborhood authentic Chinese restaurant with a family atmosphere. I grew up in the Bay Area with access to the Oakland and San Francisco Chinatown, so I know what authentic Chinese food is supposed to taste like. We looked through Yelp and decided to go to this place, and we found a gem!“

This is hands down THE hidden gem of your drive toward Placerville. 5 mins off hwy 50 in El Dorado Hills, in an unassuming business district, lies some of the best spirits produced in all of California. (That’s not just my opinion, they have won multiple awards for their liquors.)
If you think you don’t like a type of libation before going, I dare you to tell the person on the other side of their absolutely gorgeous bar, I love how knowledgeable, welcoming, and focused they are in creating some of the best liquors your mouth will ever have the pleasure of touching. “You’re welcome mouth”, is what you will be saying.
As the secret continues to get out, don’t you want to be the one who tells your friends about the best damn whiskey, gin, vodka, rum, brandy, and more, that you found and are now sharing with them? Because, if you go and do a flight, I would be astounded if you don’t coming back again. Buy a bottle, heck buy 2, as everything is small batch, it means everything is very limited before the next run, so you can taste the love that goes into each bottle.“

working but the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

“Just what I needed! First visit here. Getting seated took a while, we almost left. But glad we stayed! Started with a margarita. Bam! Big glass and a very flavorful mix. Could actually taste the booze too.
Ordered guacamole to go with the chips. Freshly made, flavorful.
We ordered the fish tacos and the the chili relleno plate. Whole beans and Spanish rice came with the the tacos. Beans were awesome. Rice fluffy and flavorful. The relleno plate came with refritos and Spanish rice. Refritos were topped with melted cheese. Delicious. The relleno was fluffy on the outside and a nice tender pepper, and assuming Monterey jack cheese. Home run for the whole dinner. We will definitely be going back to sample the other menu items.“

“We really enjoy this little spot we found. We order the WorWon ton soup and is great for two. We love the fried rice and pot stickers. Compared to other places this place has been on point every time. We come by once a week for this wonderful hearty soup. We love it!“

“Food and service are good. The noise level is unacceptable. You can hardly hear anyone on the other side of our table. Have gone there 4 times, and it has always been too loud. There are no sound absorbing decorations anywhere. The old location was much better for noise attenuation.“

“Although I do love their food, and I have been a loyal customer for almost a decade, through thick and thin… COVID etc. But… I must say that the new “format” with servers coming to your table to take the order and then deliver it is a big mistake. Also the new furniture we arrangement. It is nowhere as nice as it used to be… Completely changed the ambience and the climate for the worst. Please please please go back to where it was!“
