“Just a great family-owned shop. They’ve got some of the best donuts I have ever had. I am from San Francisco, and I can tell you, these donuts are better than any I have had in the city. Their sandwiches are a great size, especially for the price. $12 for a hot cup of coffee, huge sandwich with all the fixings, side of hot chilis and a large, perfectly fried glazed donut. Staff were friendly and donuts were fresh and soft!Took two stars away because my second time here where I got the lemon filled donut but there was only 2 drops of lemon filling in it. I am not even joking. Maybe that day the person who filled the donut had a bad day simply piped too little filling into it. Hope it isn't usually like this, will try another time and update the review if things changed.Updated 11/30/23 again as I visited the third time, tried their lemon donut again...their lemon filled was still unfilled... very little lemon filling (see picture).Very disappointing.Updated 12/3:Yay! “Stopped by on my way to Sam’s. It’s not even 10 am and most of the donuts are gone so you know they’re fresh. Got me a half dozen and they put them in the pink box. Nice! My donuts won’t be squashed together in a paper bag like most other shops. I chose a crumb donut and the lady asked how many I wanted, there was one left so I asked if there were more in the back, to which she said “No more.” (Insert side eye emoji here) LOL. Got some of their mini croissants too 4 pieces for $1.50. Dusted with cinnamon sugar. These were too sweet for me but would go perfect with black coffee. Service was fast as there were suddenly more customers after me.“

“Great experiance this morning at yum yum.i stop in for a coffee and doughnut there at yum yum.when i got outside i set my cofee and doughtnut on the hood of my car so to open door.when i turned around the coffee had slided of the car and on the floor.I went back inside to buy another one and the lady ask what happen. “Most people don't come here for the donuts.I grew up in a city nearby and was always in this part of the hood with friends from El Monte, so this place has been around and known of for years.Yes it's a donut shop but this place is known for its lottery. They sell tons of winning tickets, from scratchers to lotto tickets. Walking into this place it is full of winning tickets all over the walls (They display them). Winnings range anywhere from one dollar to thousand of dollars.I don't know what it is about this location but it's a lucky lucky place to buy, yet I have not won big I am always happy to try.This donut shop it located in a extremely big and busy plaza in El Monte. Yes there is tons of parking spots but because this plaza has a Northgate Market and lots of small shops around the parking is always a mad house, beware and drive with caution because people drive on the opposite lanes and they could care lessFYi, Donuts are alright LoLI'll still buy one ;)Good Luck!“

“I happened to be driving by and saw this shop. I decided to try it out and pick up some doughnuts for the guys at the office. Not only were the doughnuts fresh, the service was great! The women were very patient, fast and friendly. I am glad I found this shop. Most doughnut shops are very pushy and make you feel rushed. Excellent customer service.
