“My husband is from India, so we have eaten a lot of flavorful foods. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We ordered the five taco plate and sides of corn, mom‘s beans, the vegetarian beans, potatoes with chorizo, corn, and rice. We also tried the coconut rose milk lime drink, and the cucumber salad . My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. The fresh house made corn tortillas also really take the tacos to the next level. We really enjoyed our meal here. Kudos to the owners for taking such an interesting fusion risk and executing it well.“
“THE BEST INDIAN FOOD RESTAURANT in Pasadena and my absolute favorite Indian food in all of Los Angeles. Their Crab Curry is excellent and unique -- I've never seen it anywhere else. 3 Cheese Naan bread so fresh and full of cheese it's a meal in itself. Also love their Chicken with mangoes and so many other dishes that are so delicious!!! I get hungry just thinking about it! Much more convenient and accessible than my other favorite Indian food restaurant, which is in Nice, France. ?❤️?Parking: Free parking next door at the hotel on the street level or underground. Street parking is available but watch out for parking signs with time limits listed or you'll get a $67 parking violation ticket like I did. Ouch!“
“This place is such a hole in a wall, and would definitely come back. I was here literally last week and been thinking about coming back all week this week! The place is like everyone said, half grocery (international market, mostly indian goods), and half restaurant. I mean hey some people can make a business model after it, full respect. The quality of their food doesn't decrease just because its half and half, in fact, this place have the best indian food I have had thus far! There is bollywood music video playing on the TV, you are served with kindness by the staff there, and also attentativeness. The staff are great at recommending things, but they are also great salesmen - as in they would point at things asking if you want to order - lol.I ordered the garlic cheese naan, which was delicious. The tikki masala lambm which melted in my mouth. The rice was okay, but I haven't been too enthused about rice as of late, so it might just be a personal preference thing.Their mango lassi is okay, but food was really great! The parking lot is huge, free parking and shared with the other stores in the plaza.I would come back! Bring your wallet as its not the cheapest, but also bring your appetite.“
“I was out in Whittier today and found this sppt that opened a few months ago! I found parking right in front and the owner was super friendly. He also offered samples and they were good. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Spinach&Cheese on my 2 item plate with Garlic Naan! Everything was fresh and delicious the Garlic Naan was also huge and amazing. Will definitely be back for more Indian food in the future!“
“Incredible food. Absolutely delicious dishes and warm, friendly service. Accommodations for special diets available. Chicken Coconut Curry and Lamb Biryani were excellent. Finished the meal off with Gulab Jaman and Handsome's Spiced Coffee. Will return again and again and highly recommend to all. Thank you, Indian Restaurant and Gary, for your help.“
“We love CURRY! We just arrived here from Florida and are so hungry. Curry Hut was so gracious and helped us out with Chicken Tikka Masala, Potatoes and Cauliflower and fresh rice and two large pieces of Garlic Naan! Everything was yummy!!! Support this amazing restaurant!“
“I highly recommend Apex Implant Center & Dentistry. I have done extensive work with them. Dr. Uppal, Maribel, Cynthia, and their team are highly honest, competent, professional, and pleasant. They also work with high quality materials. We began a procedure at the beginning of Covid, but was paused due to the pandemic. Although they already collected funds, they did not leave me high and dry. Once businesses returned to normal, they proactively scheduled me to finish the job.Dr. Uppal never let me leave his office unless the procedure was done to a high standard of quality even if that meant spending more of his team's time to get it done correctly. He does not "upsell" you with any superfluous work.I am very happy with the smile they have helped me to achieve. I would return to Apex and recommend them.“

“Mahan is a very enjoyable Indian restaurant with a diverse menu that delivers some good flavors. There is a sense of no-nonsense value here. With a menu designed for both standard affair and vegetarian options, many kinds of tastes can be accommodated. Proteins do include the options for seafood, which many other Indian restaurants may not. One impressive dish is the chicken Tandori. Seasoned well with spices and lots of garlic, this became quite a highlight as it arrived at the table sizzling. Heat levels can also be adjusted for the shy, and dishes still taste well-spiced. The popular Tikka Masala is very excellently made. A rice pilaf is available also in contrast to the Jasmin rice. All the Naan is freshly made and delicious. The service is pleasant and you can see your food prepared as the kitchen has an open format for all to see.“
“The staff was so accommodating and the biryana and masala were delicious, can't help but give this place 5 stars. As a vegetarian, my dish options were emboldened, rather than diminished. Would highly recommend if you're in the area and need to pick a spot to eat.“
“What a find! Not only a great place to buy spices and a great selection of Indian groceries, the food they serve is amazing. We had food from the buffet, some chaat, garlic naan and the Spring Dosi. Everything was delicious. I only wish we could have eaten more!!! Excellent food and Shashi was so helpful making suggestions and explaining a few of the items. Oh! I forgot to mention it is all vegitsrian & vegan.“
“This place is incredible. I was born in London and grew up in Southall, so coming here is the closest thing I have to the authentic Indian experience I had growing up back home. They stock a wide variety of foods from all cultures and countries and the restaurant attached to the store is awesome. Love coming to see what freshly prepared foods they have and their prices are so reasonable. Best Indian food I’ve had in the area.“
“We had a great meal here! We were the only table there for about half of our meal on a Friday night which was such a shame because the food and service were so good! We had the samosa chaat, followed by the chicken roll and chicken biriyani. The samosa chaat was good, lots of flavor and textures. The chicken roll was delicious, made even better because of the bread. And the biriyani was definitely one of the most flavorful we've had. The vegetables in the biriyani and roll were still crisp and not overcooked! The person who served us was friendly and checked in on us a few times. We'll have to come back and try some new things.“
“I had the opportunity to dine here twice while on a official trip. First day I arrived in Pasadena, I found the restaurant via Google map as it was close to where I was staying. Went for dinner and had the non-veg thali and mango lassi and absolutely loved the food from the first till the last bite. I actually ended up overeating - the food was so good! On the last day of my trip, i.e., today, again went back there for lunch as this was my last opportunity to eat there! Had chicken curry, rice and naan, and the mango lassi! Again I overate because the chicken curry is so tasty! Their spice level is just right - I asked for mild! Not just the food, the people are also amazing. Each time had a good conversation with Raj! If I ever come back to Pasadena, I'll be sure to visit again!“
“This evening I found the nearest Indian restaurant. My favorite thing to eat is the fermented scallion pancake. I really like it and can’t get enough of it every time. I also love the Indian samosas in picture 4, and I must order them every time. The roasted chicken in picture 3 is not only beautiful but also delicious. The skin is perfectly crispy, which is very good. He also had a very good attitude and introduced the characteristics of the dishes when he served them to us.“
“Oh my dear Lord. This is by far the best Indian food. We drive at least one hour in traffic and it's worth every single minute in traffic. The restaurant is elegant, and the service admirable. Great for dates, or gatherings. Food is superb. I wish I had pictures, but I was tooooo busy eating!“
“R Banquet provided catering services for 2 of my wedding events (Sangeet and Reception). Rohit has such a wide variety of items on his menu that we were able to create two completely different menus. His food is impeccable. We constantly received compliments all week about how good the food was. He was always in contact with us throughout the day of the event to make sure everything was meeting expectations. We could not ask for anything more and highly recommend his services!!“
“Food came out very fast, customer service was on point, the host was very friendly and talkative. Host suggested the spicy noodles which turned out to be great! I had to ask for more water while eating the noodles but they were really good. Noodles were medium heat, I don’t think I could handle “hot” and I like spicy foods. I had the fried cauliflower, spicy noodle dish with tofu, white rice and garbanzo bean dish, and the Prata dish, everything was very well made and had great flavor. Service was quick and friendly.“
“We tried their lunch buffet on a weekday, it’s $20 per person. They have plenty of dishes if you like chicken, but no much options for vegetarians.Wish they had vegetarian options. It would be great if they can add samosa & 1 paneer dish to the buffet (will come back and rate it 5 stars).“
“It's been awhile since I've eaten here. My mother enjoyed the goat curry in the past. I finished my wife's busy chicken and it was so very flavorful. I'm upset that I haven't eaten here often. I wholeheartedly recommend the food here. The flavor is spot on.“
“I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews that are years old. This has not been my experience at all. I'm new to the area and this business has been a standout for me. Always super friendly and very helpful. Prices are about average but I go back for the neighborhood feel/welcome and service.“
“Pretty good takeout option if you’re craving Indian food in the area. The samosas are crispy on the outside and soft/boldly flavored on the inside. Their homemade mango lassi is fantastic, rich yogurt base with a fruity blend. Naan is fluffy and fresh, and the curry is well flavored with tender meat. Curry doesn’t include rice like most places I’ve found nearby, and the prices of each item does add up—it’s not a cheap meal especially if you’re dining in for dinner. But overall would recommend and come back.“
“I’ve been wanting to try this place out. My friend and I went for their lunch buffet. Located on the second floor, with a parking lot right behind (I found out after). It’s an affordable $20 for the buffet at the time of this review. The fruit chutney was a pleasant surprise and you have an option between plain and garlic naan. The rice was old and dry, but the two dishes that stood out to me were the butter chicken and saag paneer (spinach and cheese curds). The view of Colorado Blvd from the window seats was nice. The bathroom was a bit of a turn off for me, but nature called. I would definitely go again if given the opportunity.“
“Just hosted my daughter's sweet 16 here yesterday, They delivered exactly what was initially promised. Venue is beautiful, elegant and pretty much ready to just bring your guest, and party. My guest where mostly Hispanic 98% of them where pretty impressed with food selection. My husband and I took the risk serving their recommend (creamy chicken, beef with veggies, super crispy egg rolls, rice, veggie pasta, pomegranate/cheese /corn/spinach salad, and dinner rolls, absolutely finger licking.Service was outstanding everything was taken care of,so I actually enjoyed the event without running around giving directions staff knew the itinerary and was extremely helpful and efficient. I had a chance of coordinating event with Eddie,Marie, and Mitcho, they where all very helpful, however I will say it is a bit hard to get a hold of Eddie, who is the owner. Overall absolutely recommend this venue, I received compliments of the event all night! Can't wait till my next event ...to eat their amazing food again!“
“Folks, if you know indian food you will understand the quality of food found at curry time. All dishes are top notch, best quality ingredients and cooking style from Northern India. You will not find better indian food in all of Southern California. I challenge any restaurant in Artesia "little india" to provide better tasting punjabi food and trust me I have tried them all. I am in no way associated with this restaurant, only a customer. We cater food for our home gatherings, and often pick up food for special occasions, I have taken many friends to curry time and everyone has been blown away how delicious curry time food is. 100% recommended!!!Parking: Always plenty of parking and in safe location.“
