“I'm here just about every other weekend to get takeout for the family. The Indian flavors really come through in an exciting way. The rotisserie chicken is one of the best I've found in LA, and it's not even the best chicken on the menu. Anything with beans are a must-have.“

“My wife and I had a great experience at Chak De California. The food was excellent, the ambience was nice, and the plating was done really well. The flavors felt authentic and reminded us of Punjab, which made it even better. Definitely recommend this place.“

“The place is very cozy, relaxing and the staffs are very friendly. Actually with good customer service. The foods taste good and not too spicy and also not salty. It's my first time to eat Indian dishes, and I'm not a Hindu but I could say I like Indian foods now. It's delicious and nutritious. God bless!“

“I am a vegan on Covid lockdown and was craving some kofta for delivery, but all the local Indian restaurants make it with paneer. Finding this restaurant with a vegan menu that delivers was a treasure. Most Indian food is too spicy for me, but here I was able to choose the level of heat from mild, medium or spicy. Other Indian restaurants interpret “mild” as no seasoning at all but my Kofta, Desi Chole, Samosa and Baingan Bhuna were perfectly seasoned to my taste, a wonderful blend of dish individualized curry spices with just enough heat to slightly warm without harm. Also, it was not greasy at all, unlike the local places where the veggies are swimming in oil. I wish the rice dishes were made with brown basmati rice but plain brown rice can be ordered as a side, as it I didn’t have a lot of it cooked in the freezer already. The prices seem a little high for me, so I can’t afford to eat here very often, but will definitely come back as the perfect place to celebrate special occasions once I’m well.“

“One of my favorite restaurants after a lifetime in Pasadena. The food is superb, and incredibly unique, compared to what is in other cities. Furthermore, the service feels genuine, and the atmosphere is very nice, with relaxing music being played, as well as tastefully worn decor. My only criticism, if I were forced to give one, would be slightly too little protein in entrees. However, with how much I always order, I still leave stuffed. A true gem of a restaurant by all the most important metrics.“
“The people that work there always are happy you came in . They always greet you with a smile. The store has a large variety of items prices are very fair. It's a friendly place to shop. Good people make a good business. I enjoy going there everytime I shop there. Stop by sometime and see for yourself that they truly are happy you came.“
