Do not come eat here the food is the worst. Mexican food doesn’t use American cheese. I even asked for change and the woman said no. Worst service and anything for their convenience

I’m frustrated by the consistent unavailability of the Albondigas soup. Despite being listed as available Monday through Thursday, my order for this item is cancelled nearly every time. If it’s rarely in stock, it shouldn't be on the menu. Please align your online availability with your actual kitchen inventory.

Almost every time it is the real thing. Try it, you will probably like what you get.

My first and probably only meal in California for now, I walked here in afternoon sunshine and enjoyed very much the salad and fish taco and very huge glass of beer.
Loved the booth to sit in.
The team were friendly and welcoming and I am so happy to have chosen this little place in the Saturday afternoon sun :)
Thankyou

Went down to LA for Memorial day weekend and this restaurant was close to the hotel. Service was great, atmosphere was great but sorry to say it was probably some of, if not the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The shredded chicken in my enchiladas and my taco were very dry and had no seasoning. The chips were cold and stale. The person I was with said the same thing. We took it to go or else we would've sent it back. The reviews I saw were great so maybe the batch we had was a little off but...yeah...it wasn't good.

LaPaz has been in ES forever...Main St now on Center St...food is ABSOLUTELY delicious!

Little to no flavor, no spice, no seasoning. Pico was literally diced tomato and diced onion side by side in a cup (no serrano, no salt, no pepper).

Cut into a chicken enchilada and you will only find the whitest unseasoned, and dry shredded chicken inside.

I get it, sometimes you go to a restaurant and the food is not the best, if there is a welcoming environment with the people working there, I can forgive the bad food.

Good was decent. Salsa either had excessive lime or vinegar for preservation I assume. I enjoy acidic so it was not an issue for me. Many items I wanted were unavailable. More ground beef items were recommended but that’s not my preference. Fish taco was good but the pieces were cut up extremely small.

Very average food, tortilla chips didn’t seem fresh. Enchiladas were ok, that’s all.
Restaurant decor is nice and service was great, but the food……

If you’ve had real mexican food, you know this isn’t it. Got the order of 3 tacos and the tortillas, aside from not being handmade- weren’t even warm, they broke as soon as I folded them, it seemed they were just placed a few seconds on the stove/griddle. We went here because they were highly rated but were disappointed. The waitress was really nice tho and it was a good atmosphere.
