We had take-out last night and I wish I had taken a picture of my meal. The calamari steak is to die for. The veggies were not the standard broccoli and carrots you sometimes receive in a restaurant. They had yellow squash, asparagus and brussel sprouts that were fresh and crisp. Hubby had the spaghetti and meatballs - they were also great and the red sauce is wonderful. Kudo's to PJ's chef - I think I will return tonight!

Great place, they have a limited menu. Covid Menu, you need to get something from the kitchen in order to have a couple drinks. Outdoor dining or take out. Sometimes it's windy in El Sobrante! But It's the LAW!!

The customer service is constantly rapid, fantastic mood, helpful staff members. Will eat here again when I am in the area.

The good think about this restaurant is food, their chef is great. However, the service always was a problem: they are too slow. Now, there is another problem: after reopening 2 weeks ago, nobody there wears masks, or gloves, and nobody follows social distancing rules. Cook, waitress are walking without masks flirting with customers who also don't have masks; hugs are numerous. When i asked the maskless waitress about the mask, she lied into my face that she was wearing it. This restaurant totally disregards safety of their employers and customers. Beware: if you don't want to get the virus, avoid PJ's!

First time here tonight. We came based off of a friend’s recommendation. The service and atmosphere is nice. The portions and price are decent. I’m not a fan of the food though. It was bland, but that’s because I have a bad habit of eating too salty. We had a margaritas, clam chowder, Cesar salad, chicken Alfredo, and the stuff pork chop.

Food was pretty good service was good. It's kinda an odd vibe. Half upscale half bar. Wasn't sure what to expect walking in. But I wasn't disappointed. I'd eat there again for sure. Good eats for a good price.

PJ's has been in El Sobrante longer than I have! I used to stop and get a breakfast sandwich on my way to work when I first moved here. That was almost 30yrs ago! The food is good and revolves so sometimes your favorite is off menu for a bit. There is a full bar attached so you can have a cocktail with lunch or dinner. PJ's has been a neighborhood favorite for many years and hope they are there for many more!

From the moment you arrive in that restaurant the waiters give you an agreeable feeling. Very friendly stuff, it is a happy restaurant to to go out with buddies or with your date. delicious cooking, creative chief cook and stuff, honest cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.

Worst bar/restaurant in the Bay Area. If you are looking for some loud Trump supporting racist, you found your home. Me not giving a damn about corrupt Trump found it very hard to sit and listen to these old white men celebrate a man that is taking away THEIR health care and taking money out their pockets. I'll be just fine, I'm not on a fixed income, they are. Anyway, service was spotty, food sucked, but the racist crowd seemed to enjoy the lack of everything. I paid for my drink, took 4 sips and bounced. I have way too many options in the Bay Area for this BS. Enter at your own risk - I would suggest stay away, unless you have racist beliefs, then you'll fit right in. Out!!!!
