A true gem in my opinion. As mentioned in other reviews, the Tres Leches cakes are delicious and something you don't find very often in other bakeries, but don't be afraid to try the other options too. I really enjoyed the pyramids, cheesecakes, cookies, and flan. This place has been a staple in the West Contra Costa area for many years. My family has been patronizing Maria's for their delicious tres leches cakes, wedding cookies, lemon tarts and cheesecakes. They also offer lots of other delightful pastries like croissants, apple turnovers, cookies and brownies. Prices are super reasonable too, especially being in the Bay Area. Needed a birthday cake and wanted to support a local business. Went in to order. Process was easy peasy and so was the pickup. Cake was wonderful! Light airy cake with fresh strawberries and bananas. Definitely a winner in my book. If you're not in need of a cake stop by and check out their other sweets!!!!
