I absolutely adore this place! Never met a more friendly bar...and I bartend hahahaha! I'm pretty friendly and they take the cake....super nice bartender on a fridays night. This bar is the best! Just moved to El Sobrante, and I was looking for a nice bar to get some drinks. This bar was recommended to me by a nice gentleman that I met at the Hotsy Totsy. As soon as I walked in, the bartenders and patrons were super nice and welcoming. The drinks are cold and delicious. Been here more than a few times. Not a large place. It's a classic local bar. People know each other and appear to be accepting of new customers. Encountered a few bartenders and they've all been unfailingly friendly, although I'm a beer and bourbon guy, so I'm admittedly pretty low maintenance. They have a pool table that is hotly contested by some very good regulars. I'm decent at the game, but don't expect to win unless you get them drunk first.
