“Pulled over because I was running errands during my lunch break. Best decision I made all day. I got the spicy lamb gyro and it was delicious, warm, and packed with a lot of meat. It wasn't even that spicy as I had to ask before ordering it spicy because I love spicy food but a lot of places over do it . The nice lady at the window told me it wasn't that spicy and I went for it, brought it back to work and devoured it. I got one for my coworker and I was about to eat his because it was SOOO good. A little far from where I work but definitely worth the drive.“
“Nice and clean w friendly staff.“
“Great old school taco truck. I am a local plumber and they're near my shop.
The meats are always seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I always order an extra side of beans and rice as they are always delicious. Tons of nearby parking and a nice spot to sit and eat.“

“The Gelati is sooooo fresh and flavorful! It is NOT syrupy whatsoever. The flavors really shine through! Personally, the coconut cream is to die for, but you gotta get you a combo of coconut cream, mango, and passion fruit. SO GOOD! Will be visiting again during the next sweet tooth 🩵“
“I love this place so much. My #1 go to for street tacos. I’ve recently fell in love with the Mulitas. I’ve had an issue once and the manager took care of me with out question. The tacos are affordable and tasty. This is why I love Sacramento!“

“I remember when Carpenters first open and it’s been amazing seeing them grow more and more. Coffee and food is awesome. Sometimes the coffee can be overly sweet so maybe ask for half sweet. I really enjoy their avocado toast and scones. The guy with glasses and baseball cap is really sweet, I believe he’s the owner?? Elle is also very kind and sweet.
Only time I had a small bad experience was from two other individuals there. They seem unhappy and not wanting to be there. I even come during less busy times and they still have this tone that I’m bothering them. But besides that, everything else is amazing and delicious.“
“Supporting local businesses is important to me, especially in this economy. I was craving a breakfast burrito and happened to come across Rafa's. Despite being a rainy and windy day, they were open and happily took my order. Given that the food is prepared in a truck, I appreciate that they're still willing to be open despite the bad weather. The burrito was ready in minutes and was absolutely delicious. The lady who took my order was extremely pleasant and patient as she took my order and allowed me to make substitutions.
Hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I've had. I encourage everyone to support local businesses and give Rafa's a try. You won't be disappointed.“

“My family and I were looking for a New Mexican spot and we definitely found it!!! The food was soooo good. We order one of everything on the menu and nothing was disappointing it ran us about $100 for 5 people to try pretty much everything they had. I will say they are alot more affordable with better food than spots in the area. You order your food at the front and the you find your own sitting. The only criticism I’ll give is I wish it was more lively inside, it’s beautiful inside no doubt but everyone is so quiet. Not a deal breaker at all I still plan to repeatedly come back! It’s a must try and a game changer for the area.“

“The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities.
What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob.
I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The hummus was packed with a garlicky punch.“
