Tried this place out for the first time. The chow mein was good & the honey walnut prawns were wonderful. The General Zao's chicken & orange chicken were dry. Fried rice with all the meats was ok, nothing exciting. We knew it was going to be iffy when we went to go pick up the food & the dining area was completely empty.
Visited for a Lunar New Year dinner. The women working in the front were so warm, kind and attentive. We ordered broccoli beef, honey walnut prawns and our server suggested a spicy beef dish served in broth. The flavors were amazing! The honey walnut prawns were the best I've ever had. Plump tender prawns in slightly sweet sauce with meaty fresh walnuts. The brócoli beef was delish too. The brócoli was huge and cooked to perfection. They are also one of the best kept secrets in Elk Grove.
