It had been a while since I we enjoyed The Sheldon Inn Restaurant, and we were thrilled that the excellence that we remembered was still present in our evening. The staff, the ambiance, the customers and especially the food were all A+. This was an evening with a concert in their back venue. Again, splendid and entertaining. Friendly folks and super polite, yet playful, staff.
We went for brunch for the very first time. The wait was quite long for the food to come. We figure it was because of the fried chicken. They must've made the other four meals before they started on the fried chicken. The fried chicken was super hot. Everyone else's meals were cold and quite overdone. The ham on my plate looked like Canadian bacon and was thin and dry more like beef jerky. I had half a plate of potatoes and my daughter had 1/4 of what I had. I shared....
My husband and I decided to go to the Sheldon Inn to celebrate my birthday. The food was so delicious. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was the best filet mignon I've ever had. My husband ordered the salmon, which was also very good. The service was outstanding. Our server Sean was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was perfect. We both enjoyed our visit at the Sheldon Inn, and we will definitely be going back again. Thank you, Sheldon Inn.
