The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is the fact that I had reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The food , atmosphere, and staff are outstanding. The place needs to be expanded, that was the reason for the wait.

One thing I would like to point out first is that this place has a decent selection on their lunch menu. We came right when they opened on a Saturday morning. Prices at sushi spots can get pretty high but this place was decent for lunch. We started with the oysters. I was hesitant to even have any so early in the day, but when they arrived they looked so beautiful I had to have one. In my general experience the smaller the oyster the more flavorful, and that's exactly what I got here. The bento I got had some interesting plating. If you don't like your food touching then I must warn that the food didn't come in an actual bento box with dividers. However, everything was nice, crispy and fresh, but I guess some of that is to be expected when you are one of the first customers of the day. The Grantline roll that we got off the lunch menu was pretty tasty as well. The hamachi provided a nice balance to the fried food, and the roll wasn't drowned in sauce, which is something I have seen happen a lot at other Japanese spots. No scallions but the greens that were subbed in worked just the same. We also had ordered some sake bombs that came with a good amount of beer. Will definitely be returning for the lunch menu next time I'm on this side of town.

The rolls are pretty good. Nice size and interesting toppings. The wings are kinda small, but have good flavor. Hamachi Kama was was probably my favorite - crispy skin and perfectly grilled. The chirashi bowl was decent but not wow - sashimi slices are not generous but passable.

When we got bill happy hour prices did not reflect. We informed bartender and he modified the tab. We bought 2 drinks that we did not have to buy. We could have sat at a nice table, basically there is no happy hour on Sundays. Service by bartender great. Rate 2 Alcohol Margarita was spirit forward and Coors cold. Rate 5 Grantline Roll Yellowtail, avocado, masago, scallions and unagi sauce Very good my favorite Rate 5 Spicy DJ Scallops, avocado, lemon zest, habanero masago, unagi sauce Not a fan the flavors did compliment each other. Rate 3 Umai Bacon Fried Rice Very tasty. Rate 5

First time here and it was almost a full house! This place is packed even on a Thursday night, but we were lucky enough to be seated right away still. Ambiance of the place is very nice and it's a great place to dine with friends and family. Our waiter was very friendly too, he made sure we always had a filled cup of water and anything we needed. As for the food, we tried two rolls, the Bradshaw, Dragon, & then a plate of sashimi and one appetizer. The sashimi was so fresh and had amazing quality. You can't go wrong with the dragon roll, tasted delicious as always. I really enjoyed the Bradshaw roll as well.
