Emeryville is a place of international cuisine. We tried Baby Cafe, Hainan Chicken Rice, Beef stew Rice both its very good. i love it.

The staff at the counter had bad customer service. I was not presented the options to select tips when paid at counter, but they charged me 20% without my consent for ordering take out. Bubble tea was not good.

We ordered the hainan chicken and minced beef spaghetti and both tasted like they were defrosted. The chicken was bland and rubbery and the spaghetti tasted like knockoff Jollibee spaghetti. It also doesn't help that the guy at the register acts like he hates his job and everyonr around him, much like other reviews for this place have mentioned. With all the great options in the food court surrounding this place, you can easily avoid this place and find somewhere much better to eat for a far better price.

SO GOOD!! Super authentic! I've been a big fan of their main locations, so I was pretty excited to try this smaller, more laid back version of Baby Cafe.The popcorn chicken never misses. From the traditional Taiwanese style breading, to the spices, and even the fried basil, it's super legit. So happy to have authentic popcorn chicken close by. I also ordered an iced lemon tea and it reminded me of the ones I'd order in Hong Kong. Can't wait to come back!The wait can be a little long during the day, due to the fact there is only one person working the booth and he has many orders to make. Food service can be overwhelming at times.

The guy that always works the counter has horrible customer service ! He looks and acts like he doesn’t want to be there or even talk to the customers . Everytime I come it’s always him acting miserable. Customer service is such a big thing ! why have him in the front or have him at all ? I want the service I know I give !

I’m only reviewing the food since I didn’t try any drinks.

I ordered the boneless Hainan Chicken Rice. A few pieces of the “boneless” chicken were still on the bone, and the second bite of chicken was cold - like straight out of the fridge cold. I brought it back to the counter and they heated it some more, but parts were still not even warm, so I tossed the meal after a few bites.

I wouldn’t eat here again.

My wife indulged in the exotic Mango Green Tea, while I opted for the tantalizing Passionfruit Green Tea, and my son delighted in the vibrant Strawberry Slushy. The symphony of flavors was a true delight, striking a perfect balance of sweetness. What set this experience apart were the unique cups, elevating the sipping pleasure beyond the ordinary.

However, it's worth noting that the young man checking us out didn't quite hit the mark on customer service. His demeanor lacked the warmth and helpfulness we usually appreciate. Despite this small hiccup, the overall tasty experience still makes this spot a recommendation for those seeking delightful drinks with a unique twist. I had Thai tea and the milk was acid, when I went to tell him, he gave me my refund and then told me not to come to his business again, he started treating me badly asking me to go.
