Bubba's Kitchen, Tap & Sports Bar is a spot for BBQ food and sports. The drinks are good and the service is great. The BBQ food is fantastic, with the brisket plate served with a fixin and authentic texas toast. The brisket is fork tender, smokey, lightly marbled, decent bark, and pink smoke line. Two sauce styles are offered: original and an authentic north carolina vinegar mop. The original has a medium light pour, a slight tag, rounded smokiness and mild spice profile. The vinegar is very authentic south carolina style, overt tang and a little punch. There is a great selection of classic side fixins' with generous portions. The coleslaw is a refreshing purple & green cabbage, creamy, crispy, with a slight tang. The classic dill country potato salad is wonderful al dente, creamy delicious. The mac and cheese is a original elbow pasta cheddar mac with a slight cheese pull. The texas toast is amazing fluffy yet toasty garlic butter and herb. The pulled pork and brisket sausage sandwich is also mentioned. The place has a nice spot in back covered shade and tvs. It is a great place to watch sports. The staff is prompt and knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The bartender could not figure out a basic Manhattan. The food was fine, waitress was cool who tried to rectify the situation. The potato skins double stuffed with mash potatosalad and the hot link, and the Philly cheese steak are awesome. The bacon burger was odd in flavor but other food was good. The beer was flat. One of the waitresses was very bubbly and nice. The bread pudding is available to-go.
