Based on six reviews, Bubba's Kitchen, Tap & Sports Bar offers a cool bar with a great covered patio, lots of TVs, and an airy tavern-like vibe with lots of wood. The staff atmosphere is great, and service can be quick, professional, and friendly. The food is good with generous portions. The excellent brisket plate is served with a fixin' and authentic Texas toast; the brisket is fork tender, smokey, lightly marbled, with a decent bark and pink smoke line. The 1/4 Chicken Platter is meaty, juicy, and delicious. The potato skins are double stuffed with mash potato salad and the hot link. The Philly cheese steak is awesome. The mac and cheese is a house made original elbow pasta cheddar mac with a slight cheese pull. The coleslaw is a refreshing purple & green cabbage, creamy, crispy, with a slight tang. The classic dill country potato salad is wonderful. The Texas toast is amazing, fluffy yet toasty with garlic butter and herb. However, the beer was flat, the bacon burger was odd in flavor, and the bill should be watched for double charges. One waitress was very bubbly and nice, but another male staff member was not honest about an overcharge.
