“I ordered and picked up pulled pork, pulled chicken, Mac n cheese and cornbread for my 4th party. We had a ton of food with 1/2 trays for 20-25 guests. Every bit of this order was superbly cooked and packaged. Working with CJ was so easy and informative. My guests ALL loved the meal and asked where I got it. I will be making Up In Smoke my catering partner going forward.“

“Small learning curve for someone with my cultural background, but once I found the right cuts and grilling technique it was game over. If you aren’t sweating by the end of a meal here you aren’t doing it right. Really excellent value all things considered! Would happily come back!“

“I went to L&L to pick up dinner for my family yesterday because I was craving for barbecue. Luis attended to me and suggested to go and order from the app because they have a BOGO deal if you order from the app. Luis was very patient to show me how the app works. He helped me use the app. The food was ready earlier than the specified pick up time. Very good food, generous portions, and friendly staff. You can’t go wrong with L& L Hawaiian Barbecue inside Walmart San Marcos. I highly recommend it.“

“The worst ribs tonight. Usually good but burnt and dried out tonight. couldn't eat half of them. I messaged the owner and he had them remake my ribs. Much better the second time. Thank you!“

“I have been coming here for years! Sammy and Juan have always treated me with great hospitality and the spirit of Aloha. Now that Ono Hawaiian BBQ just opened down the street, I had to try them out. As long as L and L is still here, I am never going back to Ono. I tried a little bit of everything there but they dont do it traditional Hawaiian and the flavors and quality is no match to L and L which is surprising with a name like Ono. Nonetheless, this location is my inland spot no matter what. Mahalo Nui Boys! Cheeehoo!“
