“Best L & L bbq out there there's many but these guys put quality in there's they are not all the same they marinate the beef so good here and its so delicious I been coming here for years 😋. Dania is been there for 7 plus years and she always so kind and she will take care of you weather online order or in person. Miguel the cook in the back makes the best food hes amazing. “Lovely Italian restaurant in South Park. I rate this spot towards the top of South Park’s Italian food options. The food looked and tasted incredible. However, I would recommend this place more for meat eaters. Although there are several vegetarian options, the vegetarian dish that we ordered was average. In the flip side, the beef based dishes are all outstanding!“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Cali BBQ while staying in the area. There wasn't a wait to be seated which was nice. My server was very polite, attentive and helpful. When I visit a bbq place for the first time I usually try their brisket. If you can't do great brisket then you should just close up shop. Cali's brisket was easily one of the best briskets I have ever had. Tender with a smoke that was on point. I had the sandwich but if I am ever lucky enough to get back to Spring Valley my plan is to order the plate. I chose Mac &Cheese as a side and it was very nicely done. Such excellent food!! I liked that I could sit and watch one of the TVs if I wanted to but ignoring them was possible too. The vibe was very inviting and comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!“

“Took a wrong turn on the freeway and that lead us to this place. We had been wanting to come in and took this as a sign. We went for the two meat meal- brisket and pork ribs with bbq beans and cole slaw. Delicious!! Brisket was fork tender and full of flavor, pork ribs were seasoned perfectly and just right. The baked beans and slaw were just as good. We liked that they let you put your own sauce on. The tables have their house made sauces, bbq and a bbq mustard. Both fantastic! They have beef ribs but only on Sundays, so we’ll need a return trip( oh darn!) Definitely have some new fans here. Oh and worth noting, we got one meal which was plenty for the two of us.“

“Every time we’ve gone, the food is good. They also have a good choice of craft beers on hand rotating. The service can be either really good or really bad. They have forgotten about us and left us waiting for a check for 40 minutes. I ordered a hamburger with two slices of cheese, when they served it the hamburger only had one slice. I asked the waitress if she could just take it back and add another slice of cheese. I am more than happy to pay for it. She blew a huffing sound, shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and said whatever and walked away with the plate. When she brought it back, she sat the plate down and said, “Do you have enough cheese now”. “Hawaiian BBQ in Poway? I always wanted to try it, but was a little skeptical of location. This Groupon gave us the courage to try it and boy were we surprised by the wonderful seasoning of the food and generous portions. Ono kine grindz! Broke da mouf! 5 BIG SHAKAS for Ipo Hawaiian BBQ.“

“I have nothing but sweet words about this place. I am a tourist here and have tried another Nigerian restaurant that was not much to write home about. I ordered ogbona and egusi for myself and hubby and it tasted like home food.
The portions were big too and we could have shared a soup instead of buying two meals.
Customer service was good though the setup does not encourage physical contact. A sweet young boy came out to inform us that our order was being prepared.

Ordering was easy via the kiosk in the waiting room and wait was not too long.

Worthy to note is that there are multiple food places in the same place and they each have their ordering kiosk. You Order & pay online or via the kiosk and your food is brought out to you.

Food is a bit pricey but worth it. Will return again but hope I can get my chinchin this time.“

As with the aforementioned consomé, the meat and its brown juices are rich, flavorful, and bear enough muskiness to let you know you're eating lamb, but not so much as to overwhelm you with funk.The Barbacoa de Borrego (Mexican lamb barbecue) is the house specialty and it too has that feel of jiggly, sweaty meat, but leaner and more concentrated -- more lamb-y. “We were looking for a traditional Korean restaurant in North County that served banchan, sundubu, and other classic Korean dishes. It seems like most places in the area are AYCE Korean BBQ only, so we were pleasantly surprised to find Shozen BBQ.

They had all of the traditional meals we were hoping for, while also offering AYCE and combo Korean BBQ options if that’s what you’re looking for. We enjoyed the cold barley tea, and the banchan was fresh, flavorful, and excellent.

The menu had a great variety, they were open late, and there was plenty of parking, which made the whole experience even better. Best of all, we didn’t have to drive all the way to Convoy just to enjoy an authentic Korean meal.

“Best L&L is all of San Diego. The food is excellent and they have more options than all the other ones. Plenty of seating inside, tables are clean, great value too.

There is plenty of parking, its very family-friendly. Best suits medium parties or smaller. Indoor and outdoor seating. Easy to find parking, but it still gets busy.“
