“Tried this spot out yesterday off door dash, was wanting to try something new and i loved it. Their chicken is so tender and delicious I had to go back again today to see if I was just hyping it up. Today it was also delicious and so juicy !!! I’m definitely going to be coming back to this place over and over and over and over and over and over again till my sweat is 75 percent teriyaki sauce you guys Rock !!!“

“I only went to the Carlsbad location it looks like it's typically just a takeout spot but the young lady taking orders was super friendly and very helpful visiting from Tennessee so the food is like home Fried Chicken was great going back today for the brisket hope that's even better hope you have the desserts today“

“Getting to eat here is always a special treat. Our go to is the rib sandwich with Mac and cheese. The food is wonderful. So next time you’re stuck in that horrible traffic jam on the 15. Just hop off at the Pala exit and go past the truck stop. You won’t regret it. That traffic is crazy!“

“We stopped by Hill Street Brewing Co. to watch the Mexico World Cup game and had such a great experience. The staff was genuinely so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell they appreciate every customer, and that kind of service goes a long way.
The place had a great crowd, everyone was into the game, and it was just a fun atmosphere to spend the afternoon. If you’re looking for a dog friendly brewery in South Oceanside with craft beer, BBQ, and plenty of TVs to catch a game, this is a great spot.
There are a lot of breweries to choose from in North County, but I really hope people continue to support Hill Street. Friendly people make all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“Yummmmy. My fiance, son and I chose a restsurant near our hotel, and we were not disappointed. I chose Enzos bc it had BBQ, italian and wood fired pizzas. Jeff was our waiter and and was awesome. We ordered burnt ends, wings, original pizza added sausage and burrata app..... SOOO good. the ends were perfectly smoked and tender, burrata was simple but delicious and flavorful and that pizza was the best authentic pizza we all loved!!! Great service by both staff here. Bread pudding was anazing!!!! All around definitely coming back when in town!!“

“I rarely do reviews, but I had to because we are impressed. I would drive the 1.5 hours again just to come here. The kimchi was the best kimchi I’ve ever had at a KBBQ place - it’s actually kimchi - unlike most places that taste like flavored cabbage. We got the premium. My daughter ate for free because she is under 40 inches. My daughter was raving about how good it was. The ribeye was phenomenal! They have a very large variety of side dishes and meats. Service was fantastic. 10/10!! Will be back soon!“

“We had L&L Hawaiian cater an event for us last Wed June 24th. We ordered BBQ chicken & beef, Katsu chicken, and macaroni salad. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the quantity was amazing. We received lots of great feedback. It was easy to order and communication was spot on. Will definitely be going and and recommend to you all!“

“I recently dined at L&L's, and I have to give a shoutout to Brooklin, who was working the cashier. She was incredibly friendly and was handling a busy rush with a smile. “I have been coming here as my top place to each K BBQ for literally years. I’m glad this place made it through the pandemic because I love it so much!!! I like how you can pick out your own meats instead of waiting for it to come and having to order it. Also all the sides are so delicious and compliment the meats well! The waiters here are so quick and kinda! Don’t forget the 10 second button! It’s fun and I love doing it every time lol. Also remember to get ice cream before you leave (if you have enough room for it!!”.“

“This is the place!!! We eat here couple times a week. Love the bbq and katsu chicken, it’s always perfect!! Try the gravy on the katsu, life changer. Garlic shrimp is life, Teri beef and musubi make my family happy. The Mac salad is 10/10 and the staff cares about your experience! So lucky to have this in our neighborhood!! Malasadas, Lumpia, fried chicken skin!! Let’s go to L and L 🤩🌟 eat the Kalua with cabbage, yum!!! I’ve cheesecake and Hawaiian juice all the flavors❤️“

“Ohana Melrose Review
Ohana Melrose is truly a hidden gem! My family and I have consistently had great experiences here, from the delicious food to the friendly and attentive service.
They offer a great variety of tasty options, and some of our family favorites include the BBQ Mix Plate and Chicken Katsu. I especially enjoy their fish tacos—they are absolutely delicious!
The only thing I would mention is that the prices have increased over time. However, given the rising cost of living and the quality of the food and service, it’s understandable.
Overall, we’ve had consistently positive experiences at Ohana Melrose. The food is delicious, the service is welcoming, and there are plenty of options for the whole family. We’ll definitely continue coming back and supporting this local restaurant. If you haven’t tried Ohana Melrose yet, I definitely recommend giving them a try!“
