We chose out and the kids had a blast playing with big fun toys and staying out of other diners’ space. “After reading reviews we had to try and we were not disappointed. We initially had the brisket and tri tip and sides of mac and cheese , BBQ beans and potato salad. First off the BBQ sauce was exactly as it should taste sweet smoky with a little something left on tounge Perfect profile!. Meats were smoked to perfection and moist as it should be not dry. I would not hesitate to go back and plan on returning soon to try remainder of menu I actually ordered a sausage sandwich to go. Encourage you to try instead of some of the big box BBQ restaurants out there that struggle to make food to scale and lack consistency.“

“We stopped by Hill Street Brewing Co. to watch the Mexico World Cup game and had such a great experience. The staff was genuinely so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell they appreciate every customer, and that kind of service goes a long way.

The place had a great crowd, everyone was into the game, and it was just a fun atmosphere to spend the afternoon. If you’re looking for a dog friendly brewery in South Oceanside with craft beer, BBQ, and plenty of TVs to catch a game, this is a great spot.

There are a lot of breweries to choose from in North County, but I really hope people continue to support Hill Street. Friendly people make all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“The best Korean bbq I’ve tasted in a while. Flavors are on point. It’s clean and warm and inviting. I love the Terra beer we got to enjoy with our meats. Kimchi fried rice was excellent. All beef was delicious. My faves were the wagyu beef and ribeye. Garlic miso shrimp and Cajun shrimp were also delicious 🔥 the banchan we had was also amazing. Food is really good here. Service is excellent our server her name is “New Year” no I’m not joking she was so attentive and really enjoyed us enjoying our meal it was a nice vibe. Get on the waitlist and plan your evening accordingly to get there when you’re first in line and then check in at the front desk on their tablet. I’d recommend this place to anybody who loves having an interactive meal with great food and we’re definitely coming back! 10/10“

“I have been coming here as my top place to each K BBQ for literally years. I’m glad this place made it through the pandemic because I love it so much!!! I like how you can pick out your own meats instead of waiting for it to come and having to order it. Also all the sides are so delicious and compliment the meats well! The waiters here are so quick and kinda! Don’t forget the 10 second button! It’s fun and I love doing it every time lol. “I've been coming to One Love for years and the food has always been consistently good. The oxtail plate is my favorite, especially with the mango salad and sweet plantains. Everything is flavorful and satisfying, and I usually order it to go.

The only downside is the price. It's always been on the expensive side, but seeing one oxtail plate go up to $31 (+tax) makes it hard to justify coming here as often as I used to. The quality is still there, but the higher price means it'll probably be more of once a year meal.

One thing to be aware of is that there's a surcharge even when paying with a debit card. Legally you're not supposed to add a charge when using debit card but I paid it anyways. It was an unexpected charge that other customers may want to know about.

Ambience was okay. Service was nice.

Overall, the food is delicious and worth trying, but between the rising prices and the added card surcharge, I'll likely be visiting once in a blue moon.“

“This is the place!!! We eat here couple times a week. Love the bbq and katsu chicken, it’s always perfect!! Try the gravy on the katsu, life changer. Garlic shrimp is life, Teri beef and musubi make my family happy. The Mac salad is 10/10 and the staff cares about your experience! So lucky to have this in our neighborhood!!
