“Whoever said the lumpia is magical was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
We just stopped in for a bite to eat and a couple beers and we’ve now decided this place is going on our “must go again” list.
The atmosphere, music, vibes, friendly staff, welcoming environment.. everything was awesome!
We sat at the bar near the kitchen window and the HEAVENLY SMELLS coming out and wafting past us took me right to a beach bbq state of mind. Every single dish that came out looked tempting and delicious. And the lumpia rolls are the best egg roll of any kind we’ve ever had!

“After reading reviews we had to try and we were not disappointed. We initially had the brisket and tri tip and sides of mac and cheese , BBQ beans and potato salad. First off the BBQ sauce was exactly as it should taste sweet smoky with a little something left on tounge Perfect profile!. Meats were smoked to perfection and moist as it should be not dry. I would not hesitate to go back and plan on returning soon to try remainder of menu I actually ordered a sausage sandwich to go. Encourage you to try instead of some of the big box BBQ restaurants out there that struggle to make food to scale and lack consistency.“

“We stopped by Hill Street Brewing Co. to watch the Mexico World Cup game and had such a great experience. The staff was genuinely so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell they appreciate every customer, and that kind of service goes a long way.

The place had a great crowd, everyone was into the game, and it was just a fun atmosphere to spend the afternoon. If you’re looking for a dog friendly brewery in South Oceanside with craft beer, BBQ, and plenty of TVs to catch a game, this is a great spot.

There are a lot of breweries to choose from in North County, but I really hope people continue to support Hill Street. Friendly people make all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“First timers here and it definitely won’t be the last! Walking in and we can already feel all the good vibes all around! We got seated really quick but it was weekday dinner as well. The service and atmosphere were impeccable! Pretty impressed! Food was served pretty fast and the workers were very attentive in our needs and wants. It’s an all you can eat restaurant so that’s a big plus on my list! The hostess even offered to roll our baby around in the stroller just to try to give us some time to enjoy our food!! Everybody and everything was amazing from start to finish! Thank you guys for making it a great first time!“

“I have been coming here as my top place to each K BBQ for literally years. I’m glad this place made it through the pandemic because I love it so much!!! I like how you can pick out your own meats instead of waiting for it to come and having to order it. Also all the sides are so delicious and compliment the meats well! The waiters here are so quick and kinda! Don’t forget the 10 second button! It’s fun and I love doing it every time lol. “This is the place!!! We eat here couple times a week. Love the bbq and katsu chicken, it’s always perfect!! Try the gravy on the katsu, life changer. Garlic shrimp is life, Teri beef and musubi make my family happy. The Mac salad is 10/10 and the staff cares about your experience! So lucky to have this in our neighborhood!!
