“Honestly I wish I could gatekeep this place but I want this place to succeed. There’s a waiter named Tony who’s above and beyond awesome and amazing, we are always happy when he’s our waiter. The other staff are just as nice and attentive, but we’re biased for Tony. The meat quality is great, my personal favorite is the short rib. The side dishes are great, they’re the best on some days and ok on others - it depends on when the batch is made. Sonu BBQ has become my favorite KBBQ place in the southern CA region. It’s Oceanside’s best kept secret.“
“One of the nicer new styling kbbq's I've been too, yelp makes getting a table very easy waited only 10mins maybe, the food was brought out fast and all very good quality, if you like spicy highly recommend the spicy beef, nice heat and flavor to it.“
