Had the beef ribs and cabbage soup. Once it cooled down about 100 degrees :) it was very good. Beef came off the bone and the broth was very flavorful and not salty. The side plates were also all good, especially the Kimchi.
SHOZEN is my favorite for manpo KBBQ. The awesome staff treats me like family and always knows my favorite spot to sit. The Banchan is very fresh and the plentiful BBQ options are delicious. You can’t go wrong. They are also good switching out grills even during busy times. I love this place as I always leave feeling happy and full.
This place is really a hidden gem with a calm Mom and Pop shop vibe my only complaint was it was too much food for me.
