Loved the whites but not a huge fan of the reds (opposite of normal) It is a busy place, large with multiple sitting areas and was very popular the Saturday we were there with live music. Unfortunately only one place to get a glass or continue your tasting and waiting in line, mostly while one pour-er talked to one guest, got a little old and took away from the experience. Food truck on site serving pizza and related food was very good.

Great place, live music Saturday during the day was really lovely! Yummy snacks boards. They also had pizza but we didn't have anything. Various areas for and stylea of seating. Wine is great!

We first visited when they opened and come back every time we are back in town. Love to see their growth and keeping the same vibe. Wine is very good and can’t beat the views. The new bakery is great too.

This place is great! A relaxed Saturday afternoon sampling great wines, enjoying some live music, and intimate chats with friends over flavorful food truck specialties.

I'll return certainly. It would be a great place for your private party amidst valley views of grapevines settled within the hills and valleys.

Good place for a first date.

Outstanding wine, wonderful staff, amazing property. Best winery in North County.

Thank you so much to the staff here for being able to accommodate my large group of 17 friends. The place was super lovely - mountain views, lovely lush olive tree groves, pretty decks, and there were chickens and horses that made the experience very special. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and also the pizza there was delicious!

I loved this place a few years ago, and became a member of the wine club. It was a friendly, intimate place and the people were passionate about wine and service.

Then they got big. They built much larger tasting room and went for the “Sunday scene” with live music etc.

When I queued as a wine club member for 10 minutes, with nobody in front of me, while a guy behind the bar with a bushy mustache, loving the sound of his voice, spoke to two other people and ignored me, I left the club and the winery.

The views are very pastoral and excellent wines. The weather is warming and Domiane is super to enjoy wine with your favorite people.

Love this place. Very nice vineyard with nice views, relaxing atmosphere and great wine. Love when the pizza place comes by!

I am a bit disappointed with recent winery messaging/policy. These changes seem to make the winery setting more exclusive and less welcoming to families. I have NEVER been dissatisfied with the wine. Just a little disappointed in the pull away from families and inclusion.

New review: I am the biggest fan of this winery. I have recommended this winery to literally all of my friends and family. I have never enjoyed a winery more than Domaine. I love most Domaine wines, which is very telling for a self-proclaimed wine snob. At most wineries I Iike two or three wines. At Domaine there is no wine I do not like. I especially like their Rincon del Diablo and Syrah. In addition to their scrumptious wine, the staff here have never waivered in their kindness and accomodations.

The missing star and slightly critical review is hopefully part of larger growing pains. My kids used to come here and feel so welcomed. They could stretch their legs and roam a bit (supervised). We could search for tadpoles or ask staff for the owl puppet or drive the tonka trucks through the olive orchard. It was a pretty special place for our teacher friend group to relax and have their kids enjoy outside at the same time. Seeing the new signage up discouraging supervised child autonomy is beyond disappointing. I enjoyed this winery as it always felt like family. It felt like home. It was uncomplicated and comfortable. Their dogs roam free and my kids, behaving with respect, were also permitted to do the same. Closing out areas to kids is beyond regrettable and makes me less inclined to continue membership (even given my 10 plus years of membership and their delicious wine). Unfortunately I am going to consider if it's worth it to be a member of a place that is seemingly inhospitable to half of my family. I wonder if they will make a separate section for families / dogs or if they will continue to slide towards exclusionary spaces.

Awesome time! Lots of fun with the staff tasting and trying to guess notes! Will be back for sure!

Great experience for a budget friendly wine tasting. Good ambiance with the live music. The firewood pizza was delicious too.
