Absolutely amazing experience here. We’re in town visiting and decided to stop here for lunch. Service was excellent, space was clean, and we got our food super quick. I ordered the enchilada ranchera with chicken and oh my god, absolutely PHENOMENAL! The rice and beans were 10/10 too! Super tasty dishes that aren’t made with processed ingredients; everything is made in house and sourced locally.
I would come back. My food was delicious. It was light and fresh. My husband said his was "good American Mexican food." I like that they served whole beans rather than refried. The chips were meh. The service was very friendly but not super attentive. The cost was a bit much for the food but we were celebrating so I looked past that. I had a shrimp burrito. It was by far the best burrito I've had in Humboldt. I had to eat it with a knife and fork though - it's that kind of place. Not a taqueria but sit down authentic mexican. Seems to be very high quality, I'm sure the other food is also great.
