Dolan's Bar and Grill Reviews
Had the pleasure of meeting the amazingly hilarious bartender Elizabeth while we stopped at this bar on our way back home. Had an delicious chili dog, couple of stiff drinks, and a good laugh in a comfortable laid-back environment. Bartender super cool and patrons friendly. Would definitely recommend this bar
This review is based upon 2 visits to Dolan's. My first visit was to just check it out, so I had fries, Guinness and a shot of Irish whiskey. Second time, I brought a friend and we split the beet salad (BEYOND delicious, especially for a bar!), and we split the empanadas that were on special (also very good!). Ordered lunch to go. The Gumbo is amazing. I highly recommend if you like the spice, seafood and chicken combination. Only rated it that because it wasn't a good size portion for the amount paid. ? I actually wanted more, as good as it tasted. Their garlic bread was good! Almost like it had a hint of anchovies. If you don't like spicy, texture, or need it to look appealing you probably wouldn't rate it the way I had rate it. But it was actually good for me.
Dolan's Bar and Grill offers a friendly and laid-back atmosphere, complete with a hilarious bartender named Elizabeth. The chili dog and fries are delicious, and their Guinness, Irish whiskey, and martinis are worth trying. The beet salad is especially notable, and their specials, such as the empanadas and old world corned beef, are also recommended. However, the Irish dumplings were noted to have come out cold and lacking in flavor. Despite this, the welcoming staff, including Mike Dolan and Cookie, make customers feel like regulars.
