Mylapore South Indian Vegetarian

Mylapore in Folsom is a gold standard of South Indian Vegetarian restaurants, not only in the US, but anywhere including in India!! I came here first time on the way to Lake Tahoe in 2009 when it was new, and love coming here regularly since we moved near by couple of years ago. During all these 18 years that they have been serving, they have maintained the same highest quality, cleanliness and excellent service. Their selection of South Indian food feels like home prepared. I love all their staff who serve with a smile, make you feel at home, the Carnatic music in the background takes you down the memory lanes!! Such a gem of a giant of an Indian Restaurant, recommend with all my heart..

Food is very tasty.
Stopped by while visiting lake Tahoe from Bay area around 8am.
Ordered Mini Tiffin VIP vada idly Pongal along with masala docs sweet.
I recommend. Ingredients are fresh. All items tasted really nice.

Excellent restaurant, food is amazing, service is lightening fast and the place has upscale tables and chair. Nice authentic touch. Price is very reasonable. $9 happy hour dosa special comes with Sambar and chutney. If you love or are curious about Indian food you’ll love it

Very nice location, ambience, staff and menu options. Even it is not too costly. Not too over crowded. Even wash rooms are prominent and kept neat and clean. Finally there are sweets to buy and carry home.

Delicious South Indian food, chole bhature and rava kesari. Staff is very friendly and shoutout to Ramadasa and Tamilsilvan server they both are always welcoming and treats everyone nicely.
