“Hi, whanau; I am pleasantly blown away by the food we had at this restaurant. The quality of the food is the highest standard I have ever eaten. Time taken to cook might be more than in fast food restaurants, but it discloses freshness and tenderness in the meat. Perfectly balanced flavours, not too chilli hot or creamy and sweet everything was excellent. Clay oven / tandoori-made Indian beads were the best eaten in the last few years. Quantity with quality means happy puku and repeating customers. sorry...no photos...we were too busy enjoying the food.“

“Had a friend come the day before and he couldn't stop talking about the food. So we came to try the next day. We are already planning our next visit because wow.
The shrimp dumplings were packed with flavor and they were not fishy.
The steamed dumplings were juicy and delicious.
The chef special friend rice did not skimp out on shrimp and beef.
And the orange chicken is now my all time favorite. It is thinly sliced chicken that's battered and the sauce delicious. I can't stop talking about it. Definitely coming back“

“This out-of-the way Indian restaurant deserves your business. We had the all-you-can-eat brunch for $15 each. The food was quite tasty, including flavorful rice (buttery?), garlic naan, goat curry, and chicken curry. Not spicy, though you could add your own hot sauce. The have a good selection of beers, with Indian (including large bottles), Mexican, and domestic. Friendly and attentive staff. Not fancy.“

“I was craving a cheesy pepperoni pizza for lunch today happened to be nearby this location and stopped by. The owners and employees were extremely friendly and the pizza was delicious. I’ve had the Basil Coconut Chicken, Butter Chicken, Dal Tadka, Malai Kofta, Coconut Curry Lamb, Mixed Vegetables, Samosas, Naan and it’s all amazing! So delicious! “I had such a great experience here! The food was honestly amazing—every bite was so good I didn’t want it to end. I went for a meal and ended up loving it all, from the main dishes to the chips and salsa, which were seriously delicious.
The prices are really reasonable too, which makes it even better. You get high-quality, tasty food without breaking the bank.
On top of that, the customer service was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. You can tell they actually care about their guests.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon. It’s one of those spots where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about your next visit. If you’re looking for great food, awesome service, and a chill vibe, this place is a must-try.“

“I love their breakfast burritos. I get the sausage and egg and it is one of the best out there. They use whole sausages instead of cutting them up which makes sure they are not dry. The hash browns are a little crunchy on the outsude but mushy and fully cooked. So when you but into the burrito the flavors come together perfectly. They also have a great lunch menu.“

“What a tasty 2 taco lunch while waiting for my truck to be serviced at the dealership across the street. The shredded beef tacos were delicious with perfectly fried hard shells and both red and green salsas. They have about a dozen different meat choices for the tacos. Everyone working there was so polite and kind. Now that I found this place, taking my truck for service will be so much nicer knowing I can walk across the street for delicious food and great service. Don't forget to pick up a bag of house made chicharrones for sale on the counter.“

“OK, I have lived away from Fontana for many years graduated in 1962 from FOHI .... anyway, forever, wherever I go I try to find a Peppi's pastrami sub sandwich that equals to the original Peppi's of years ago quality and taste!!! CAN'T FIND, NOPE CAN NOT FIND ONE!!!! I DREAM ABOUT FINDING ONE OR BEING BACK IN FONTANA AND BEING ABLE TO GET ONE OF THOSE YESTERYEAR SANDWICHES!!!!“

“Tonight we order the family cheeseburger feast. Seriously AMAZING. They toast the buns and put them in their own container. The grill the burgers, melt the cheese, again separate container. Then...the fresh fixings, lettuce, pickles, fresh tomato slices, pickles galore, white and red onion slice. Phenomenal! Did I mention the fries? Guess what? Separate container. We fed our family of four and still have leftovers. I am renaming this. Build a burger. Everyone’s burger was unique, custom and we were all satisfied.“

“Was looking for a place to eat for Mothers Day with my family for breakfast came across El Rey Mexican grill. The restaurant is located next to a gas station, it's has 3/4 tables it's small but very clean.. however didn't had many breakfast options but a few burritos. We got 2 breakfast burritos &' a shrimp burrito &' let me tell you they didn't disappoint everything tasted fresh, authentic! agua Fresca tasted so good! They had a salsa bar with 4 different salsas all of them are so good they have a tray of freshly homemade chips! The coffee tasted good. Overall we had a good experience, can't wait to come back and try lunch options.“

“I started coming here all the time after a teacher from platt college recommended them! At this point they recognize my order bc im here so much(sorry!). They were so sweet and tried to help me when i didnt get to use my app and then the manager and owner (? I think?) comped my order even though i was totally fine with paying! Everyone is always so sweet, and i felt terrible for holding up the line. Thank you so much! Ill forever be coming back, especially since they pretty much know my order lol.“
“The food is very authentic, down right to the drinks (banana flavored soda being one of them). The food is prepared right on the spot so not a place I'd recommend for a half hour lunch but definitely one I'd see myself coming again if I have a craving. The baleadas are top notch and so are the enchiladas (different from Mexican)“

They’ve been in business for 18 years, and once you go, you understand why. It was busy when we visited — locals definitely love this place 🙌🏽✨
The tortillas? Freshly homemade, soft, hot, and straight off the comal 🤤🫓 You can literally taste the difference.
We tried the cucumber with lemon agua fresca and it was so refreshing 🍋🥒 Perfect balance and so good with the food. Of course, I had to get a michelada to pair with my fajitas 🍺🌶️ That combo? Elite. The fajitas were flavorful, sizzling, and cooked perfectly 🔥
They have so many options to choose from, especially on the weekends, so you really can’t go wrong with any dish 👏🏽
And dessert? 10/10 😍 We ordered stuffed churros, flan, and buñuelo chips — all sweet, crispy, and so yummy 🤎✨
