“It was really fun to bowl. Didn't go to the bar. The shoes don't have the slippery part in the front. The good was good, and I had a bacon, lettuce, and tomato wrap. :)”

“For a military base this food is solidly 5 stars. Generous portions, several options, but watch out, some of it is quite spicy!
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a table tagged for wheelchair users.”

“It was a good place, and definitely worth the price to eat in it. The options change often, but hamburgers are served everyday but they can run out. There are helicopters and tanks by it which is awesome
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! As long as they are old enough to talk for themselves they could go whenever. If they are too young then a guadarian could order for them”
“Went to this Starbucks location for my birthday drink. Barista Stephanie provided immaculate service with a custom caramel and mocha frappuccino. I asked for a drink with chocolate and caramel and she did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.”

“Service although slow is great. They could certainly use more help on certain nights of the week, such as Wednesday when they have all u can eat wings for $15. Wing selections are great, and of course the beer selection is fantastic!”
“I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a place that shares space with the likes of Taco Bell and Charley’s Subs. But I could not have been more wrong. The spicy lamb is astonishingly delicious and can hold its own against a mom and pop Chinese restaurant showcasing this savory specialty. Kona Tea’s dish has hints of Szechuan peppercorns that enhances the flavor of succulent lamb slices perfumed with earthy seasoning. Overall, I am glad I took a chance and found an establishment on Fort Irwin that does justice to Chinese food and Asian cuisine in general. I will be coming back.”
“Shout out to gabe at Starbucks on fort irwin! He was super nice when we came through the drive thru and genuinely seemed happy to be at work. Thanks for the drinks!”

“Made a larger order today. The staff was more than accommodating, smiling and laughing as they were making sandwiches. They were in the middle of cleaning and it was really nice to see their restrooms were in order. I love coming here for a sandwich and having a great staff makes it an even better experience.”

“First time going here. It was about 2:30 on a Friday. It was empty. Was greeted upon entry and they took my order immediately. Place was very clean and there is a lot of seating available. They didn't have personal pans already prepared so took 7 min to make a personal pan sausage (7.59). Was hot and ready when I got it. Employee was nice and friendly. Parking is weird but it's only my second day here so maybe I didn't go the right way. I hate Pizza Hut prices but I love their pizza 🤣 I would recommend.”

“Dining on a military base often means striking a balance between function and flavor, and Coyote Cafe manages to do just that—with a welcoming twist. Nestled on post and run by a dedicated team of civilian staff, this chow hall stands out for its consistently great service and friendly atmosphere.
From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this isn’t your average military mess. The facility is well-kept, clean, and organized—creating an environment that feels more like a small-town diner than a standard issue eatery. The staff are a standout feature. Civilians at the helm bring a personable and professional energy, greeting service members with genuine smiles and a sense of warmth that lifts the mood after a long day. Their efficiency and kindness keep the lines moving and morale high.
As for the food, it’s classic military fare—with a few pleasant surprises. While you won’t find gourmet touches, you will find dependable and satisfying options. The meals are thoughtfully portioned, served hot, and the selections rotate enough to prevent repetition fatigue. Whether it’s baked chicken, spaghetti night, or a simple breakfast spread, the quality is consistent and the flavors are better than expected for base dining. There’s always something to fuel up on before the next shift or PT session.
Coyote Cafe doesn’t need to be fancy—it just needs to be good, and it absolutely delivers. For those stationed nearby or just passing through, it’s a reliable spot to grab a meal and feel taken care of. In a place defined by structure and routine, a bit of comfort and hospitality goes a long way—and at Coyote Cafe, you’ll find both.”
