True family owned restaurant with walk up counter service. Casual open interior with booths around the perimeter. The lady running the counter is obviously the mother of the house, her mannerisms and demeanor both ones of pride of the restaurant and also the food served. Surprisingly good place in a nondescript strip mall. Everyone in our party of 7 was satisfied. My kids loved the chicken tamale plate. I had tacos of lengua and asada that were both really good. The salsas and chips were yum, especially the smokey red salsa. Rice and beans were on point. The fish taco was slightly bland, but the freshness and homemade everything, including tortillas, more than made up for that. I would definitely come back to try more.
