“Went for something different in Fried Chicken, and I was not disappointed. The chicken is crispy outside and tender inside. I got a half chicken with the Secret Sauce. Enjoyed it greatly. I had it with curly fries, a pretty good large portion. There was enough for two. I tried to finish all the chicken and failed.
The value is good.

“Not sure how they got them but Lucia and Andie were amazing. Like deserve a raise amazing 😉. Service was exceptional. They could easily work anywhere. The food was hot. The sauces were good but they really made my experience excellent. The chicken as a bell for food is hilarious. Drink was never empty and left with a full belly. My bill seemed a little expensive but tbh I felt comfortable and that is worth it. I would recommend to anyone wanting some non-grilled wings. Fried to perfection. They only slightly negative thing I have to say is the corn was lack luster imo (I ate it all though so couldn't be that bad). Wish I got the cooks name as well because he was pretty awesome when I had a brief interaction with him. They are doing it right here. Also the hats are cheaper than lids discount rack. “I have been going to Wings n Things my entire life. Growing up, my family would always take trips to San Diego and always made it a point to stop by Wings n Things on our way back to Orange County. I was so excited when I heard they were franchising out into Epic Wings and opening up more locations. For awhile, I was making the 1 hour round trip drive to Mission Viejo just to get my favorite wings.
Now I have 3 locations within a 15-20 minute drive, this one being the closest.

I stopped in tonight to pick up some food and was greeted by Daniel
I har a pick up order and wanted to order some extra for lunch tomorrow and he made sure I got my extra points
He told me it'd be about 10-15 minutes so I went and sat back my car to wait and this guy brought my food to me!

Amazing service as I have always had from these locations, but super impressed with the minor gesture of bringing the food out to me when that wasn't expected or necessary at all. Just always 10/10 food and service.“

“Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly employees. The restaurant had a great vibe—clean, refreshing, and paired with nice music that made the atmosphere enjoyable.

I ordered the Smoky Burger meal, which comes with fries and a drink. Let me start with the burger: the meat was cooked to perfection, high-quality, and packed with flavor. The bread was hot and fresh, and the portion size was generous. The fries were crispy, and the meal as a whole left me feeling full and satisfied. What really impressed me was how I didn’t feel bloated or sluggish afterward, which is rare for a burger meal.

Firefly Burger has officially become my go-to spot for cheat meals. I’m excited to explore the rest of the menu next time!

“If you’re looking for a trendy twist on Korean cuisine, Chan Chan is a great spot to check out! They offer classic Korean dishes but with modern flavor updates and presentation that’s both delicious and affordable.

Instead of traditional paper menus, you’ll need to scan a QR code at the table or check out the clear, easy-to-read menu on the wall. They keep the options concise, making ordering a breeze.

What I ordered:
▶️ Spicy & Sweet Tuna Kimbap 참치 김밥 – $9.99
The tuna had a creamy texture, wrapped up in perfectly cooked rice and seaweed. The size of each roll was about 1.5 times bigger than your usual kimbap—definitely not a one-bite deal!

▶️ Fried Chicken Tenders 치킨 텐더스 (4-5 pieces) – $13.99
I chose the chicken tenders during their lunch special. These tenders were made with chicken breast, so I felt healthier and lighter. I paired them with sweet garlic sauce (스윗갈릿), which had a hint of mustard and a touch of sweetness—definitely a unique flavor that you won’t find at traditional Korean restaurants, but it was so good!

▶️ Rose Pasta 로제파스타 – $17.99
Rose pasta is super popular in Korea, and even available in convenience stores too! The sauce is a mix of red (tomato) and white (cream) sauces, often available as a pre-made mix at grocery stores (just look for “cream cheese rose sauce”). Every restaurant seems to have their own take on this dish.
In Korea, it’s usually slightly spicy, but although Chan Chan marked it as spicy, I didn’t really taste any. The portion was massive— enough for 2-3 people to share!

The plating here is on point, with thoughtful presentation that’s perfect for photos. Even the dishes and containers have a more modern, stylish vibe compared to typical Korean restaurants.

The banchan (side dishes) were lighter in flavor, with kimchi and pickled radish that weren’t too sour, making them more suited to international palates.

Oh, and a clean restroom is always a bonus for me (yes, I’m one of those people who always checked the bathroom cleanliness! ).

Chan Chan is definitely on my list for a return visit! They also have another location in Irvine.

If you’re craving traditional Korean food, you might have to head over to Garden Grove or a little bit north for more variety, but Chan Chan is a great option for something a little different in the Huntington Beach area.
