This place is amazing! I was typically paying $30 for a lobster roll with the different food trucks and that was just for the roll alone. At this place, I can get a roll, a side of tots, salad and a can of pop for less than the same price! This has become one of my go-to restaurants for when I want to enjoy a good lobster roll. This place is a great “hole in the wall”. The lobster is surprisingly affordable, especially when compared to other lobster places. It’s not a “rip open a lobster” type of place, but that’s what I like about it.

Food was amazing, we tried the Connecticut lobster roll, lobster bisque and sweet potato fries. I live 2 hours away and do not mind driving that just to eat here.

Lobster Guys Fountain Valley provides an absolutely outstanding and incredible dining experience. The restaurant is extremely clean, quiet, inviting, lively, and cozy with a peaceful atmosphere. Customer service is consistently highlighted as excellent, fantastic, and incredible, with staff described as warm, humble, smiling, patient, accommodating, and professional, making guests feel genuinely valued.
The food is exceptional, delicious, and surprisingly good. The lobster rolls are a major highlight, available both hot and cold, including specific options like the Cali Truffle Roll and the Classic Lobster Roll. The lobster is incredibly delicious, creamy, and full of meat, served on perfectly fluffy brioche. Popular menu items also include the Lobster Mac and Cheese, described as very very good and homemade with a lot of flavor, the best lobster bisque, crispy calamari, and sides like garlic bread, fries, and tomato soup. Combos, such as a three-roll combo with lobster, shrimp, and crab, offer substantial value. While the prices are noted, the quality makes it totally worth it, especially with promotions like a free giant tote bag with a roll purchase.
