We always order the same dishes when we visit. Whenever we venture out of those same dishes (intestine hot pot, beef and tendon, salt and pepper pork chops, sour stem shredded pork, fish filet with scallion - make sure you allow it to soak in the sauce and flip multiple times in the sauce before eating, hot and sour soup - too often a hit or miss so we skip that now, mapo tofu), we were rarely disappointed. This is a great restaurant. The food quality is very fresh. The staff is friendly and has good service. The food came out rather fast so we didnt wait too long. The price is very good. The only part that takes long is to pay for the bill. So if you are going during a lunch break at work, plan to be a while.
Every dish is delicious. Our dinner club has celebrated the Lunar New Year there for 16+ years. Large group (10 or 12 diners) round tables with lazy-Susan spinning carousel for family-style dining. Some of our favorites include: glazed shrimp with walnuts, ma poo tofu, vegetable eggrolls, beef with snow peas, mixed vegetables, kung pow chicken, tea smoked duck, green beans, and house special squid with pork.
