The spicy chicken sandwich was really awesome. The chicken was fried right, the spice level was good and it hit the taste buds just perfect. I have always seen a long line here though the service is fast too.

Solid Banh Mi spot for whenever we're in the OC. We usually go to the other Tip Top location, where it's more of a sandwich shop versus this location that has a bunch of other food options. This spot is right next to the ever-busy Brodard Restaurant, so beware for parking once things start opening up again. Our go-to is the Dac Biet, and it rarely disappoints us. I do think they gave us less meat and less veggies here than the other location, so was a bit disappointed when we opened to enjoy our Banh Mis. Still, quality ingredients and quality baguette - they also did not skimp out on the Pate which is super important, at least to me! Maybe one day we'll stop in to try their other food offerings!

If you're here to pick up their baguettes, make sure to keep asking/reminding when they will be ready as the staff will forget about your order. Other than that, the food is good and the sandwiches are okay. They have both a dining area and to go counter but at the to go counter make sure to remind the staff what you ordered if the order will take long.

First impressions isn't bad. It's a cute little restaurant with a bakery inside. The service was excellent and the waiters did an excellent job at helping my crew pick their order. The executive chef even came to introduce himself. The food is was delicious and properly presented from what I looked at the menu. I recommend the calamari for sure.

I ordered the bbq pork with lemongrass, bbq chicken with lemongrass and a veggie banh mi. My kids devoured it! The meat was tender and seasoned really well. The bread was slightly toasted and it remained soft for several hours. I would definitely recommend coming here to try their banh mis.

Good Vietnamese sandwich restaurant with both dine-in and to-go counter. Reasonably priced and sandwich was very tasty. Met my expectations and it is definitely a decent place to visit.

4 stars for their pate chaud. I often stop by to pick up pate chaud and baguettes for work however, lately, they did not have the pate chaud and baguettes ready when they open the door in the morning. I have to go to another places for a couple times. Please be sure you have your items ready for sale when you open for business.

They have a new chef with many new and tasty dishes. Me and my boyfriend had spaghetti with garlic butter sauce served with salmon and beef. It was made dante 75% cooked which make the dishes taste better. Strongly recommend these 2 dishes.

Ordered banh mi sandwiches for my son's birthday party. All the guests really enjoyed the grilled chicken, grilled pork and grilled beef banh mi! Their baguette is made fresh and tasted so good. We will definitely be going back!

I recommend this restaurant for the closeness to everything in Fountain Valley and very easy to find. They got plenty of parking and no long lines either. They bake all their pastries in-house and every is made fresh daily too. The food is just average compared to other similar establishment in This area. They got two people running the tables and service does take some time about 20 minutes. But I was disappointed in that the server didn't clear our table after we were done eating as requested 3 times. She complained how busy she was trying to manage 5 tables at that time. I guess you don't have to clear the tables until guest leave your place. They don't want you to stay too long and take up space after your done eating I guess not sure why the server never returned to clear our table. The pork noodle soup is not good and full of MSG not actually pork bone broth. I asked for extra bowl of pork bones and she said they don't have any so that is a clear sign not to order this again. Most people order rice dishes and sandwiches and coffee here. I should have known their soup noodles were not good. Lesson learned today is only order what many other people are ordering as that is their specialty here. Overall we had a good time catching up with family and old friends remembering the history of our lives in Vietnam before 1975. Bring extra clothing as this place was extra cold today.

Service is slow and confused. Foods are tasteless and drinks are so pathetic. Wondering how this place can stay in business?
