Dakshin is an upcoming hidden gem of authentic south Indian vegetarian food in Fremont. The family run business puts out fresh wonderful dishes and the service is very friendly and cordial. Their desserts and savouries are made fresh there and the snacks and sweets are great. Favs are mixture, boondi, jangri, Poori, potato saagu and mint rice. The rage bath and ragi bath are delicious healthy option and Karnataka sambhar pairing perfectly with freshly ground coconut chutney and a crispy onion oothapam. The flavor profile is nuanced and authentic, with piping hot sambhar and a hint of spice kick. Customer service is excellent and courteous, and the experience is wonderful and back to memory lane.
