Their #5 sometimes uses REALLY thick filet mignon cuts and I dislike it. When you're lucky they switch to thin cuts. The thick meat is often times not cooked inside no matter how hot the soup - it tastes. I wish for the filet mignon they use regular thin cuts like other restaurants man instead of these thick pieces.

Pho Mama is a hidden gem in Fremont, offering delicious food and generous portions. The summer rolls are amazingly tasty, and their house sauce brings out the flavors and veggies of the roll very well. Both pho and vermicelli are fresh, though some wish for more veggies in the vermicelli bowl. The service is super efficient, with orders arriving a few minutes after ordering, and the staff is super nice and friendly. The ambiance is clean, bright, and nice, on the quiet side to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The food is top tier, and the service is amazing, with staff going above and beyond, even recovering a friend's air pods. They happily welcome late guests and don't rush them. This place has the best pho and will even customize it if asked, like making pho with bbq short ribs. Overall, it is an A+ restaurant and one of the favorite places in Fremont.
