I usually buy cakes from here and often times also used their tables for working and all the workers were always extremely nice. Their espressos are nice and strong and pair well with their baked goods.
The food, service, and ambiance at Tous Les Jours are all OK. It's a small bakery that is pretty understaffed. I have tried several baked goods at this bakery, none of which are bad but are nothing special either. For the most part, I prefer the baked goods sold at Paris Baguette. One thing TLJ offers that PB does not is bingsu, AKA "snow". This is sold in the afternoon, not mornings, as the bakery is quite understaffed. Cakes are delicious BUT the service to try and order anything is horrible. Several times that i have been in here and the workers are sitting wrapping a ton of bread.
