The enchiladas are fantastic!
The place looks more like a bar than a happy vibrant Mexican restaurant—very dark.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. They give free chips and salsa, which was great. The food itself didn’t have anything particularly special, and I wouldn’t say it has that authentic, rooted Mexican taste.

My food got to me and it was still nice and hot. The food had perfect amount of seasoning. My husband and I enjoy are food every time.

The owner is hands-on, but was handling food with her hair down. Others enjoyed breakfast around 1130, ordering carne asada fries and huevos rancheros with a michelada—both absolutely delicious. The owner and staff were very kind, welcoming and respectful. Another picked up a shredded beef taco plate and a shredded beef quesadilla—tasty, filling and satisfying, though not as spicy as preferred. Mama Iguana’s is now part of their go to list.
