I am going to be frank here, this is not a great location but I was in an adventurous mood and driving 200 miles from L.A. gave me an intense craving for some auténtica comida Mexicana.I ordered a chicken taco plate. For the uninitiated, the dish comes unadorned, meaning the customer chooses what to pile on. The chicken was surrounded by a dark savory sauce that reminded me somewhat of chile. First tried the taco truck on Jensen and because I realized I wouldn't have cash for the taco truck, I figured why not go to the restaurant instead, and holy crap it's goood. Meat is well seasoned, and everything is flavorful. We've tried almost every Mexican place in town, and there's always something that could've been done better, but everything here is done right! This place is our new go-to!

Seems like it might be a family business, the host was super friendly and helpful, the food tasty and plentiful, and the prices reasonable for the times. I even split the Enchilada plate into two plates and they only charged me for one plate and a $2 side of beans and rice! Bent over backward to make our experience a good one, will be back!
