“Just popped in for a quick bite at the tail end of happy hour. I sat at the bar and was served by Steven, he was great, quick to get my order and checked on me at reasonable intervals. Easy and friendly interaction overall.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is on whoever should have been running food, which, based on my own experience in the industry, was probably the rest of the crew as it was a slow Monday and bartenders tend to be trapped behind the bar. I ordered nigiri and it took probably about 10 minutes to be delivered, I heard him ask a server to check on it but they never came back. He eventually went and got it himself, apologizing for the delay. Again, nothing against him here - he was busy making drinks the whole time. But once I took a bite of room temp tuna, it confirmed that it was ready and waiting a bit for a runner. This might not be a common occurrence but I've seen similar delays during past experiences, having to even ask a couple times about an item before it was delivered. Full hands in, full hands out (of the Back of House) and general team work would help with this issue.

I'll keep on coming back cause the food, service, and vibe is generally great. While still a bit pricey(cause its seafood, duh) this is some of the most reasonable prices in town for sushi. Just wish the happy hour was a smidgen longer so I could actually get to it after work more often. 🥲“

“I'm going to start off with how much I love the staff. My husband and I sit at the sushi bar every time we are always well taken care of and the food is always satisfying and delicious with good portion and nice flavor. My biggest complaint is that they switched to pink ginger it was almost enough to make us stop going, but I hate the thought of not supporting such a wonderful team over something so trivial.“

“We are here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, it was around 1pm & we waited 5-7mins for our table. Their lunch menu is a great option, we had sushi obento & temaki ranchi which came with a miso soup, portion is ok for 2 at lunch. Sushi is fresh & so delicious, yellowtail & flatfish is really good. For temaki, I wished they have more raw options on the lunch menu 😀, my favorite is the crunchy garlic kani. Overall, the restaurant is clean & well-decor, fresh cuts, a great place for a date night or even lunch. Oh, the compliment green bean is so good!“

“We went to celebrate three (3]) birthdays and it was great food, great intertainment from the cook!!! Bern there twice and had no complaints. I don't understand why people give bad reviews. MAYBE THEY NEED TO EAT AT HOME??? YES, THEY DO.“

“The cook John was great. He was engaging and funny instead of going through the motions like some cooks do. Food was great too. Not a complaint just a suggestion, the waitress could have been a little more personable and enthusiastic. She wasn't bad but not great, very quiet and didn't say your welcome when thanking her. Other that good visit and will request John.“
