“You noticed how the stars quote, "I loved it" is past tense. Ever since I was turned on to this place it has been my favorite go to pizza place. However I've never ordered over the phone nor given them my number even though someone did, and ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple. I explained this to the manager who kept wanting to check my order to see What I ordered the last time. I explained it must have been someone using my credit card but that I have never ordered over the phone. I haven't given them my number. Period. No matter how long we talked he couldn't understand what I explained I've ordered at least 10 times. After 10 minutes I gave up but I'm very disappointed. They make an excellent pizza and I'm starving. I called and apologized for getting frustrated but that doesn't solve the problem...I still don't have any dinner. Apparently in order to get what I want I have to go in to the shop. That's the only problem I've got with this place and but it's still frustrating!“

They take extra steps to avoid cross contamination and it is very much appreciated! It's our go to spot for take in and never a worry about cross contamination.“

the food is the kind of American tavern menu that hits every time. good proteins, solid sides, everything executed well. the asparagus dish that keeps showing up in their photos is actually as good as it looks. the cocktails are thoughtful and the bar program clearly gets attention.

the space is warm and well designed. dark wood, good lighting, the kind of room that makes a Tuesday night feel like an occasion. comfortable for two people or a bigger group, it handles both well.

reservations are smart because Clovis tables fill fast and this place earns its busy nights. I've gone both with a reservation and without and the difference in the experience is real so just book ahead.

service has been consistently good every time I've been. attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, easy to flag down when you need something.

“About three weeks ago I came in and ordered 2 pizzas, the Indian man and lady took 48minutes to have my pizzas ready. There was only 2 customers ahead of me. I was not going to come back because of the bad experience I had, but today Friday I had Adrianna give me the best customer service. She had 4 people waiting in line, and I asked for four pizzas and she said she would get them out in 7 minutes, and I said are you sure? And she said of course I'll have your order ready in 7 minutes. Not only did she get my pizzas out in 7 minutes but she also gave me the yummiest pizzas. !!“

Sat out on their enclosed patio with heaters…very comfortable, table was arranged perfectly for visiting and seeing each other during our meal. Everyone could chat, we had several delicious appetizers, cocktails and wonderful entrees and then desserts. Alyssa was our server, she was wonderful, explained the special, gave drink, appetizer, entrees and dessert recommendations! It was perfect! “Jennifer was the person waiting on me. She wouldn't put all toppings on that I wanted. She ran out of cheese and wouldn't go in the back and get some she said if you put too many toppings on it won't cook. Then to top it off we asked for salt and pepper and we had to take our food up to her and have her put it on our food . I've never heard of such a thing . Not happy at all with this experience. And she burnt the pizza any way“
