I have visited the Inn on multiple occasions to capture wedding photos! The major upside of staying here, regardless of the downsides, is just how close it is to the popular spots in the park. Other hotels are just not as close since everything outside of the park is far away. It's also a beautiful location with some good amenities. Just keep in mind that the park is still remote and this location can sometimes lose electricity. It's all a part of the fun!
Shannon, Andy, and Stella behind the bar at the bake shop in the Old Faithful Lodge are stellar. They deliver legendary hospitality daily, and go above and beyond for their customers and one another.
One of the best gelato in California and Nevada!
You cannot skip this place if you're visiting the death valley!
Nestled in the middle of nowhere, it serves up nostalgic, retro atmosphere alongside some absolutely delicious ice cream and shakes.
The ice cream is rich, creamy and not too sweet. In the torrid death valley, nothing beats stepping in this time capsule for a cold treat. A desert lifesaver!

Ice Cream Parlor, Ranch at Death Valley offers a luxurious treat in the middle of the desert. The recently remodeled parlor features beautiful stained glass windows, stone quartz countertops, and elegant metallic ceiling tiles. Despite being pricey, the generous scoops of ice cream make it worth the cost. Flavors like Bunny Tracks, Date, Huckleberry, and Mint Chocolate Chip are available, and can be enjoyed in the lovely interior or outdoor seating areas. The parlor also serves milkshakes and sundaes, making it a great spot to indulge on a hot day. Visitors have been pleasantly surprised by the size of the ice cream scoops, often feeling they could be a meal on their own. Even during busy times, the staff provide excellent service, working hard to ensure a good experience. While the prices are high, they reflect the resort location in a remote area. Overall, the Ice Cream Parlor is a welcoming place to enjoy a sweet treat, whether inside or outside, after exploring the nearby park attractions.
