Best breakfast in Garberville ♡ Wonderful espresso and tea. Pastries to die for and a fantastic larger menu. Everyone who works here is kind and patient.
Highly recommend

So many good pastry options!
Just found out they rotate the jam biscuit flavor regularly and got to try the fig, orange marmalade, and raspberry and they are all fantastic.
Also you can get a latte with real maple syrup as the sweetener/syrup.

The staff are very kind. And the pastries are amazing! Every pastry is made with care and are so good!
I had a breakfast sandwich and it was the absolute worst ciabatta bread I have a ever had. I stated that they accidentally gave me white bread, but they insisted it was ciabatta. So I would steer clear.
Again the pastries though! Oh my god so good!! The espresso options are pretty decent too.

I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in around noon—most of the pastries were already gone, which told me right away how popular this place must be. To my surprise, Il Forno also offers sandwiches like panini and quiches. I wish I had picked up one of each to bring back to San Jose, but I was already stuffed from our long road trip from Shasta to Humboldt County.
What truly caught my eye were the pistachio cannoli, pecan bars, and cheesecake. I grabbed them to-go, and the moment I bit into the cannoli back in the car, I was in food heaven. Honestly, it’s one of the best cannolis I’ve ever had—each bite was so good it almost made me tear up. The pecan bars were incredible too, and enjoying them later at home in San Jose with a fresh pour-over coffee made the experience even better.
This little bustling town is lucky to have such an authentic Italian American bakery. A true gem worth the stop when you are in Garberville!

Vanilla glazed sprinkle donut. Very soft with a slight chew. Really good and deceiving, we didn't think much of it looking at it in the case but got it anyway and really enjoyed it. We would come back for more donuts for sure!
Blueberry cheese Danish. Nothing special but tasty nonetheless. Wouldn't have to get again. Not a great ratio of pastry to fruit/ cheese filling.
Overall we were very happy with our goodies and will be returning if our travels lead us back nearby!
Back for another visit!
Glazed donut- maybe not as good as memory said, but still delicious. Annoying little marble sprinkles though that hurt my teeth. Delicious.
Chocolate glazed donut- great texture, really tasty chocolate
Choc chip almond coconut Nutella scone- excellent. Really really good. Moist with a great texture. Wonderful flavor. Would absolutely get again.
Choc cake- I thought it was amazing. Whitney said the cake itself lacked flavor but that the icing was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to get again.
Almond croissant - tons of filling. Tasty croissant with slightly dry, crispy edges. Very good. Would get again.
Biscuits- 10/10. So good. Moist, flavorful, large, top 3 biscuit.

Make this a must stop on your trip or route!!!!! Fine coffee but it was the baked goods that sent me to gordita heaven. I am not a biscuit eater but when my hubs came with a few boxes of pastries and goods to try, I kept cutting a piece from this to admire its flakiness and gooey center filled with jam. Every single baked good was a 10/10. He also mentioned how great the service was and how easy it was to get in and out of.

This has to be the best bakery of Northern California. I have been trying to find something similar but nothing compares to the taste of their bread. Totally delicious, I’m dying to come back.

Bakery is really good but because of it they sometimes run out so get there early. They also great at making coffee drinks. They sell fresh loaves of bread and have a cooler of togo items. Also have good food.

A MUST!!! Wonderful place. Great food. I wish I lived nearer. We went with family to Benbow Inn. My quiche was fantastic. With caramelized onions. Perfection. They ordered sandwiches and loved them. The beverages are also really well prepared.
No inside seating :( but it was a beautiful day and we sat outside. I don’t know if the woman making the beverages was the owner, but she is fantastic. She fell in love with my friends Jack Russel. Sorry. Forgot your name.
