Capital Seafood

My family and I still enjoy coming to Capital Seafood. The ambiance is welcoming, staff is always accommodating and the food is still a 10! We come here for family birthdays, special gatherings or even if we have that craving of authentic Chinese Cambodian flavors. If the restaurant doesn’t close even during holidays, it’s definitely a special place to visit! It’s always a big feast for big families and it’s worth it! Thanks Kelvin!!!!

Understandably they are busy at certain time of the day but at least have some phone etiquette. Called a few times to place an order “to go” however once you reach a live person you get the normal person on the other line operating the phone would tell you “wait a minute.” And LOL you would wait for a while. Now having that feeling just makes the food go sub par.

The hotpot was served in an aluminum bowl instead of a traditional clay pot. The house special squid had an unusual odor, suggesting it might not have been fresh. Similarly, the seafood hotpot had a noticeable smell, possibly indicating that the squid and shrimp were not fresh. That's it i'm not coming back.

Literally the best lobster I've ever had. The owner of the restaurant even came out and gave us our meal. He was so nice and humble. I would 100% recommend and would definitely be going back.

Man oh man this place was amazing the food is so good and tasty 10/10 the lobster special is amazing very tasty the string beans are to die for and the honey walnut shrimp was good, Everything was good must must go try everyone

Had a reservation at 1pm and got seated 25 minutes late. Not happy. Also food took 25 minutes to get to the table, and didn't get my drink order til the food came. Will not ever be back!!!

Service is fast and great. Food is very good. Lobster price is by current market price. House special sauces are good, so any house special food you can expect to taste the same but good. Management has changed a lot over time, but food is still good, and they've updated the interior. Has lots of seating for big families or get togethers.

This place really needs to improve their ordering system. Called for a pickup order where it was rushed and didn’t even get a chance to ask or say my name which I had a feeling would cause potential issues later. I arrive for pick up to which the cashier can’t even find my order and proceeds to just place as my order as a new entry… i also saw others come in who placed an order ahead and their order was not even found. I wait for 30 minutes and begin to see others who order after me get their food. I ask the cashier for the second time about my order and then he immediately hands it to me that was sitting there since I arrived.. they didn’t seem to want to help the situation and just apologies. I like the food here after coming here as a kid but man, the son who took over his dad’s business really has to improve this system that has not helped for years

Portions smaller for lunch special. Perhaps worth it more to go to other restaurants nearby for bigger portions, faster service and similar pricing

This place is packed on Sunday dinner.
Also it's a place where a lot of families come to celebration bdays. We waited for 20mins for table for 3, and 10mins to order. The foods came out one dish at a time, with 10-15mins gap. We ordered 4 dishes and by the time we down with dish one, we have to wait 5mins for the next and so forth. They are popular with lobsters since 90% of tables have lobster (we didn't) and they came out fast....The foods are good, nice portion, and tasty. Service is great, friendly and helpful...wish the foods can come out faster. The place is a typical Chinese style, just more of modern side and clean and airy.
Prices wise are not bad, very reasonable. Overall, beside slow turnaround, very good.

We came because we saw the lobster noodle dish on Instagram, but they prepared it separately with lobster coming first and the noodles much later. The noodles didn't end going well with the lobster. Kind of disappointing.
