The fruit cake is the best, I love how they pack on the fruit and the flakey crust in the middle is delicious. We love about 1hour away from here and go get cakes all the time. The whipped topping is not super sweet so the fruit and topping are perfectly balanced. We bought the biggest cake they had the other day and the owner was so sweet, she gave us a few free pastries.
My go-to spot for Orchids and the Napoleon Cake with tons of fresh fruit on top. They have a great orchid selection with the best prices. And we always get our Napoleon Cake from here. They only have them in 2 sizes: 1/4 sheet and 1/2 sheet, and they always so good. Parking is horrible, depending on the time of day. Service is direct. They take cash or card. For my father's birthday, a family friend gifted us a fruit tart cake from this bakery. First, the fruit was extremely fresh. The initial bite and crunch (from the tart) was absolutely delicious. Almost a blend between a cake, fruit tart and a flaky croissant. This was a pleasant surprise and possibly, my favorite type of cake. My father loved his cake!
