Pamela's Tea Room Reviews
I had a terrific visit to Pamela's Tea Room. This is a fantastic place to go for authentic British Tea and scones. Jill recommended the Earl Grey Lavender and it was really tasty. It felt great to get such a warm welcome upon arrival as well. Jill was kind, so helpful going way above and beyond to make sure our time there was exceptional. I really enjoyed the British decorations and ambiance as well, it was a really nice touch. I have no complaints whatsoever, I highly recommend...read full review
Wonderful! The owner Pamela served us and we had a perfectly wonderful authentic English Saturday-tea! So cute and cozy!
Pamela has officially retired so the Tea Room is officially closed for tea. That said she does catering through her website!

Pamela's Tea Room, located in Old World Village, offers a cozy British tea room experience. With a variety of soups, salads, crumpets, scones, sandwiches, and an extensive tea selection, the restaurant caters to different tastes. Customers enjoy the authentic British atmosphere and appreciate the warm welcome upon arrival. The service is highly praised, especially noting the friendliness of the staff and the owner. The restaurant offers a high noon tea option for $36, which includes a choice of tea, a small side salad or soup de jour—often tomato bisque or oxtail soup, made from scratch by the owner's husband. Guests can select two types of sandwiches, with gluten-free options available if requested early. The meal comes with two scones, clotted cream, and jam, though opinions on the cream vary.
Pamela's also has a small market selling foods from England, gift items, and loose teas. The ambiance is simple but reflects a real English tea house feel, with indoor and outdoor seating. It is a popular spot, especially during busy times, and is suitable for celebrating special occasions or just enjoying a relaxing afternoon with friends. Recent reviews highlight the friendly service and freshly made, beautifully displayed food, including sandwiches, scones, and tea with all the trimmings. The gluten-free options, like scones and open-faced sandwiches with fillings such as coronation chicken, salmon cucumber, and cashew chicken, are well received and satisfying. Overall, Pamela's Tea Room provides a lovely experience that many look forward to returning to.
